I love to go to cabin tavern, AKA Jim's Cabin tavern. It's been here for ever, grandfathered into a neighborhood right by the beach. All ages come here, my parents- and my of age kids. The floors slope and beach dogs will greet you. They have a barbecue going sometimes on the patio in the summer. It's just a hangout where everyone is friendly and talks to each other. Good food too.
Like going to an LA club, without the attitude. Great atmosphere. They have outdoor seating year 'round. There are several different seating areas, one is a loft- so they have a couple of bartending areas. Service is great. Try the panini's at lunch, and the Loft drop for a cocktail. Portions are huge. Half sandwich and cup of soup is actually a whole and a bowl. The quinoa salad, the crab cakes and the pan-seared scallops are awesome.
We have financed and re-financed through this company, The owner works hard researching what is best for you. We've got great rates through them, and even in these times, they are keeping busy, a true testament to their reputation.
They have the finest cheeses and the owner is an expert on pairing wines and cheeses. They will put together your party cheese plate. They have specialty food items like olives and crackers that I have trouble finding at other places.
I love to go here during Art Walk every third Thursday, when they feature a specific artist. I love the gifty items, and they carry some glass pieces that I've never seen anywhere else. I'm saving up, the prices are right on for original art.
Very good, big sandwiches, everything is made fresh there. including the meatballs, and pulled pork.brt fresh buns, some on ciabbatta.. Nice decor, friendly staff. Check hours, I tried on a Monday at 2pm and they weren't open.
This shop on hiway 99 has rentals and sales. They carry all the good names, and prices seem to be fair. They are knowledgeable, and their season rental package is a good deal, especially for growing kids. I think it closes for a while after the season ends.
We've tried to eat here a couple of times, but they seem to not want business unless you are one of their regulars. There were so many people standing around smoking outside, bummer in the fresh mountain air. I did have a good french dip there a long time ago, but last time we went there, it even felt dirty.
Great burgers with their own special sauce that you can't duplicate. They grill the buns too. This is a messy burger, so don't get it to go and try to drive on highway 2. Last time they had a free upgrade and a shake came with it if you wanted. Clean bathrooms, so it's a nice road stop.
Beautiful French linens, and lots of oversized pots and decor for a big open house. I love the style, but it doesn't match our house, but I love to wander through and sometimes find gifts here. They also have some antiques. Definitely distinctive.
