Bountiful Home is in a cute old house just off the main drag. They have plants and flowers, and it's a great place to go for a new centerpiece or Christmas decorations. Very cozy.
Attached to the Parkside grocer, and near campgrounds, this restaurant could probably do some business if it was appealing. The decor is from the 50's. I don't think it's ever been updated, and the clowns are creepy. If the entire store didn't smell like rancid grease, I might have tried it by now. Go across the street to Headwaters Pub for Pizza.
You know it's going to be good when you go in and most of the many tables are filled with Asians. You can't beat the seafood dishes, the vegetables are fresh, portions are huge and prices are great. Sometimes it takes a while as they are very busy with dine in and take out, but it's worth it. The sezchuan style prawns are the best.
Although I haven't stayed here, I've eaten in the lodge a few times. They have an incredible brunch on weekends, and if you call ahead for reservations you can have a great dinner as well. The lodge looks very cozy. A fun thing to do in the winter is the sleigh ride, bon fire and dinner. They have a great New Years Eve deal. Plan ahead
If you need rockeries built, "or any kind of hole" dug Rayfield brothers does a good job. They are honest in their bidding, dependable and can give you advice as well
This mom and pop is so much more than a hardware store. Clothing, gifts, home decor, espresso. Of course they sell lumber too, but if my husband says he is running to the hardware store, I jump in the car and sometimes spend more than he does. A destination in a beautiful setting.
I don't get my haircut here, but many of my friends do, and they are well known for quality cut and color. The prices might seem a bit higher, but they absolutely do not accept tips, which men love. Also, they have charitable events where they donate all proceeds.
New ownership, a little rough on the first night getting the new staff working together but definitely more hip and worth checking out. We will give it another go. Decor is good, food was great, love the neighborhood.
If you like real southern cooking this is a great, inexpensive place to get catfish, hush puppies, etc. Rated excellent by John Hinterberger of the Seattle Times and he was right!
Great place to grab lunch. All you can eat sushi or bento boxes, etc from the menu. We have done company lunches and done the Tepanyaki. They put on a great show for a more than reasonable price.
