We love the spinach pear salad. The pasta is always served steaming hot. My husband likes the Gorgonzola chicken pasta. Everything I've ordered has been really really good.
You can't ever find a baguette in this town, not even here. The baked goods are satisfactory but why in the world would you have to take a number to wait for just so so cookies?
This place has the best pies. We love their omelets. They are huge and recommend splitting one. The lounge is very cozy so we usually eat in there. Sheryl the cocktail waitress is so funny and brings you the best service.
We had prime rib here and had to send it back because it was spoiled. The waitress agreed that it was bad, but the cook would not admit it. We did get the meal taken off. Also went in for their seafood buffet and there was mold on the fish. I hear the breakfast is good, but we won't be back.
Usually always good sloppy mexican food. Locals bring the family so lots of kids. The tables are close to one another so it is hard to hear each other over the noise. Fast and inexpensive.
They have these marinated skirt steaks that we crave. I wish they'd give me the recipe. They have beef jerky that tastes like it has marinated in wine. Really, really good!
It is well known for the beef jerkey. In fact if there is a concert at the Gorge, they will most likely be sold out. They have smoked white king salmon that is to die for.
Really fresh and delicious. We go here frequently. Jose is the owner and is always happy and singing. When he gets to know you, he will have your drink (Cadillac Margarita) and chips already at your table.
And it is good too! They have really good steaks and great lasagna. A good wine list but terrible glasses. Very small. Get a bottle you'll save money. The atmosphere is very charming.
I think it was built in the 1800's. It still has the only running spittoon. Great food, Live music. It had the reputation in the mining days as being a rowdy bar. Some say it's haunted.
