They also have a store on West 11th and Bertelsen. The have a wide selection of very yummy jerky including teryaki, pepper jerky and original. You can buy as much or as little as you like. The price per pound is a little high, but worth it.
There is also a small deli style restaurant. I have never eaten there (I just get the jerky to go), but it looks okay and seems to have a decent lunch crowd.
A friend recently told me about Backcountry gear. I was all set to place an order on their website when I learned they have an outlet right here in Eugene.
The outlet is more like a showroom and is their only one. It looks small but is actually the storefront for a large warehouse. If you are into climbing or outdoor gear, this is the place for you. I purchased a very popular brand jacket (one of the ones ALWAYS excluded from sales or coupons, for twenty-five percent off).
The sales staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and takes the extra time to help you make the best choice.
We have used Don's Appliance Center several times. They respond quickly and are very fairly priced. They not only do the repair but let you know whether it is more feasible to repair or replace the item.
This course is located on both sides of Interstate 5, at one point you actually pass under the freeway. There is a lot of traffic noise which can be distracting. It is an 18 hole executive course with a par of 67. It's fairly long for an executive course.
This is an 18 hole public course that runs along the Willamette River. Maintenance is so-so. Be careful when teeing off along Springhill Road. There is alot of traffic and not much room for a bad drive!
This is a newer course with a lot of elevation changes. Rent a cart, there is a lot of uphill walking! The back side has alot of large trees while the front is more open. There is a driving range and snack shop.
We have rented tractors, ditch diggers, post hole diggers and various other equipment from here. The items have always been well maintained and the staff has been helpful. Their prices are generally lower then other places in town.
Macy's has a wide selection, particularly of clothing. Sometimes the selection is so big it can be overwhelming. They almost always have a coupon or savings card of some sort or a promotion for an extra discount with your Macy's card. You have to read the fine print though, there are a lot of exclusions. The coupons are so frequent I wouldn't shop there without one, you'd pay less if you just waited a week or so.
This pharmacy is located inside Fred Meyer. There is free parking but the lot can be pretty busy, especially during the holidays.
This would not be my first choice pharmacy. They are very slow. I have often waited for more then 30 minutes then had them not be able to find my prescription. The upside is you can do your grocery shopping while you wait.
This pharmacy is located inside PeaceHealth Clinic. They are open late at night and on Sundays and are right across the aisle from the extended hours children's clinic. I have used them many times when there has been no other pharmacy open.
Parking at Peacehealth can be an issue. Their lot is often full.
