This is a small mom and pop shop on the corner that has pretty much everything you need at low prices. If you ever are in a pinch and in need of something, it's just like a 7/11 shop.
This place, though very quick and cheap, doesn't care about its customers at all. There are always so many people in there that they don't really care about what you want or about doing a good job. The staff is really cold and calculated and rushes through your pedicure or manicure.
My sister used to take me there all the time. It is so tasty and light on your stomach. You don't feel too full when you leave, and the atmosphere is so cute and low lit. This place is pretty popular among the locals, and I can see why with reasonable prices and great food.
This place is really great for the outdoorsy type. They have a great selection of hiking and other kinds of camping apparel for those who love to be outdoors. Their colors are muted and soft.
When my parents went here they weren't really impressed with the food or the service. It's in a prime location, so that's a plus if you're shopping around a need to grab a bite to eat. The prices are moderate and the food is okay.
My parents are both teachers and they love coming here for supplies for their students. It's a bit expensive, but since it's educational, the school should reimburse your spending. But because it's expensive, you can't stretch your buck as far.
This place is really expensive for them to just teach you how to make something. The proportions are large, so I guess that's why they charge so much--because it lasts a while, but I wasn't impressed. I didn't even think the food tasted all that great once I got home.
This is a computer place where people go to get online. It's like an internet cafe, but with games. It's a social hang out because most of the same people always go. It costs per hour to play the games.
This place has a really nice atmosphere and view, but the menu is anything but nice. The prices are outrageously high and all they serve is fish, which I guess is expected on the wharf, but they have no other options but fish. The prices were, however, what deterred me from going back.
This place is offered to be used through MJC and is great. The teachers are really nice and the place is cute and small, on the second story in McHenry Village. Yoga is an amazing way to get in touch with your body and increase your longevity through stretching and toning.
