I used to live near Nagle's about 15 years ago. I miss it so much! Last year we were in the Florissant area and I begged my husband to let me run in and look around. It was near Halloween and I found some cute, old fashioned decorations that I hadn't seen anywhere else! This is a true 5 & 10 type store and full of UNIQUE items! I wish they would put a store online so I could still buy some of their items!
They have seasonal decorations, candy, home decor, collectibles, candles (and they smell so good!) party supplies, toys and MORE!
Nagle's is an old fashioned, fun store that you'll want to return to again and again!
Every time I've been to this Taco Bell, the service has been great! They have NEVER gotten my order wrong and the employees are ALWAYS friendly and courteous. Also, it seems the the food proportions are more generous than other Taco Bells! I have actually driven a few miles out of my way to go to this Taco Bell over other Taco Bells! I highly recommend this Taco Bell store!
The last time I was there, I waited for about 3 minutes at the drive thru speaker, finally gave my order. waited at the window for 12 minutes (after paying for it at the 1st window) and finally a lady comes to the window and says "Did you need something?" and gives me a look like I was bothering her. I said, "Yes, my food!" and she walks away..comes back a couple of minutes later and gives me my order. I get home and the Nachos Supreme had chips, beans, beef and that's it! No cheese or anything else! I was so ticked! And I was the ONLY customer in the drive through. (It's not like they were busy). I've never been back.
Lines were extremely long as usual. Only 2 checkouts open. There were pallets blocking the isles making it difficult to move easily through the store.
I only go there once or twice a year and this is why. I ended up leaving my merchandise and walking out of the store.
I recently went back to this Kmart...reluctantly, but was looking for something and thought maybe they'd have it. I have to say, the store was cleaner, the aisles weren't blocked and there were plenty of cashiers to check me out...and they were FRIENDLY too! I actually
found some bargains on some shirts and found that the Jaclyn Smith line of clothing was very good quality, stylish and well made. A refreshing surprise compared to other discount stores.
I see changes for the positive and just hope that it continues. I will go back soon and even MORE often as long as they are keeping up the good work!
Yes, I used to shop there more than once a week when they first opened. Then after a few months, they must have gotten a new "pricer." The prices they put on items (and let's face, it ...some junk) was unrealistic. They were wanting antique store prices for their items. What they fail to realize is that if something is scratched, chipped, stained, cracked or missing pieces, it's not worth anything....
They used to move stuff out of that store like crazy. There were always people putting bins of stuff out...constantly. Now I can go into the store weeks apart and see the same old stuff...with the same overinflated prices still marked on them. Lower the price and move that stuff out! SELL! SELL! SELL! (I maybe go in once every 3 months now and maybe spend less than $10.00. When before I would go at least 1-3 times a WEEK and spend anywhere from $20.00 to $60.00 a visit!) As a matter of fact, I used to buy so much glassware and pottery that a cashier said to me, "Have you ever thought of shopping at the Woodlawn store?" (Because she didn't want to wrap all that stuff) so I DID go to the Woodlawn store and now they get at least $200.00 a month from me! Ha! Ha!
