I love authentic restaurants- and my experience here was mediocre at best. The food was pretty good- It is had to make mexican food taste bad really. My server was unfriendly and really should have been happy as the place was pretty crowded.
My husband is a pizza snob and he could not believe that this place, which is right near us, has such good pizza. The pizza has a thin crust and pretty good sauce.
his place does alot of takeout business. I reccomend the baba ganosh (spelling). The pitas are also very good. Falafel was a bit crispy for my taste - but overall very good
I don't like big supermarkets. This is not your place to do everyday shopping unless you are not on a budget. They do offer unique and freshly prepared foods. It is worth stopping by if you live in the area
The best flavor - excellent prices. They offer vegetarian versions of "meat". I believe they are now called Jiangs Garden. Just order way in advance - because they are definatly understaffed.
Food was ok.- simple takeout. I ordered their moo shu vegetable. The best part was the paper thin "pancake" wrapper that came with them. Have not ordered since
I have visited their new location in wantagh and found the rools to be extremely fresh and very well priced. Their green salad- ginger dressing is wonderful.
I am a fan of GiGi's. I like my italian food to have flavor and not use grease as a substitute for flavor. There tomato sauce is flavorful and I especially love theie eggplant parm- Since the eggplant is not fried to chicken nugget status
Eden;s Way has been aroun for a while. They consistantly have a variety of organic refrigerated foods as well as dry products. They also carry makeup and other non-food items. Pretty fair prices
