Oscar's Restaurant & Entrtn
We were so excited to have a new restaurant in the area. Oscar's appears from the outside to be a bit different than the typical bar & grill it is on the inside. I ordered a chicken tender salad. The food took a long time and it was hard to hear anybody at our table with the TVs and Music on so loud. The chicken on my salad was completely uncooked and the replacement took a long time to come out. I haven't been back since and not sure if I will.
Tom's Coney Island Restaurant
My Mom and I meet for lunch here frequently. We really enjoy the menu that has more selections than a standard coney. You cannot beat the food for the price.
Tami's Grille
What a cute little diner! Love the atmosphere and the waitstaff is great. I've only been there for lunch but I really like the food - the bacon is great (just crispy enough). The restaurant hours make it a little tough to frequent the place.
Kalloway's Restaurant & Pub
Kalloway's has a great menu selection, good atmosphere, and friendly staff. If I wrote this review a year ago it would be 4 stars easily. I even held my wedding rehearsal dinner there. Unfortunately, the last handful of visits have been disappointing. Mostly the food sounds better than it tastes. Not true for all items but some of my once favorites have gone a bit downhill. They get picky about small things like the number of rolls served to a table. I sure hope they can bring it back up to par!
Meadowbrook Animal Clinic
I have been taking my two dogs to this clinic for five years. I enjoy the staff and the atmosphere. They are very good about explaining all your options and are upfront about the costs of procedures. I enjoy two of the vets particularly. I drive out of my way about 15 miles just to go there. It is obvious how much the entire staff loves animals - it is obviously a pre-requisite to work there!
Garrett's Cafe
When I am in town I really enjoy going to Garrett's. It is a very comfortable atmosphere. Great appetizers and a lot of good beers on tap. The waitstaff and bartenders are very easy going and accommodating.
Ken's Coney Island
My husband and I have given this restaurant a shot a few times (once a year when we forget what it was like). We call it Ken's Smokehouse because the smoking is so bad in the restaurant we cannot enjoy our meals. I haven't found something I really like on the menu that would bring me back despite of it. Obviously a lot of regulars frequent this establishment.
Greg's Pizza Co & Lounge
This place doesn't look like much on the outside (maybe it will be better once the complex is complete), but the food is good. The baked spaghetti is my family's favorite. They give you enough to share at a reasonable price. The breadsticks are amazing, especially with the garlic dip. These may be basic menu items but they are far better at Greg's than most chains!
Ashraf Mohammad Md - Ivf Michigan
Dr. Ashraf is unbelievable at what he can do! I was referred to him by my gynecologist (he was her surgeon) to remove a large ovarian cyst. He saved my ovary where I'm sure many doctors would have removed it saying there was nothing they could do. He also checked for other issues and corrected them during my surgery that will prevent me from miscarrying in the future. My insurance did cover him since I was there for the cyst removal and not infertility issues (you need to clarify that for coverage).
I am so glad I got this referral - he has got to be one of the best in the state! Ladies - if you need surgery in the female area please go to a specialist like Dr. Ashraf instead of a regular doctor. You won't be sorry.
Fancy Feet & Fingers
Fancy Feet & Fingers has technicians that do a great job and use quality products. They care about the shape and condition of your nails. The pedicures are great! Some of the staff is more friendly than others. Definitely worth a try.
