This is a random dollar store in the Del Amo mall. It's close to shoe stores and there's not many dollar stores in malls. The location is a bit small but it's stuffed with random knick-knacks that cost $1.
This place has a HUGE selection of perfumes. It's pretty small but the place is packed! I've been here a couple of times to find specific perfumes that are difficult to find and they always have it.
Mongolian BBQ is not common but it is definitely good. you can pick whatever you want and throw the raw ingredients in a bowl. Then the chefs take it, throw it on a huge metal plate, and cook it right in front of you! It's great because you can put what you like it in it.
This is in the Ferry Building and close to the financial district in San Francisco. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are generally friendly (but the lady we had this time hovered a lot). The food is pretty good but is a bit pricey. My mahi mahi was pretty good but I really liked the pumpkin-ricotta ravioli and chocolate mousse!
I love their hats here!! The store is apparently from Japan so it's very unique and trendy. It's in the the Lab in Costa Mesa and it's a bit small but has a great selection! The only thing is it is a bit expensive for hats..
The food here is pretty good. The decor is pretty amazing and they have real tatami rooms for groups of people to eat at. I love that the waitresses wear pretty kimonos.
The portions are huge here so go hungry. The food is the typical breakfast foods or sandwiches and they are all pretty good, but not especially extraordinary.
I love the design in this oki doki! Oki doki always has a good selection of pan-asian food. I prefer the costa mesa oki doki because they have a bigger selection, but this one definitely is not bad. I knew people that worked here so it was fun to eat at this one.
Anjin is so good! It's always really crowded, but for good reason. It's always worth the wait. The food is good and there's lots to drink. It's pricey but you really get what you pay for.
I really like eating sushi and I'm a big fan of speciality rolls and most of the sushi here are exactly that. They aren't really memorable but they were still pretty good. The restaurant is pretty small but when I went during lunch there was still space.
