I am far from being a vegetarian and I usually don't like vegetarian food but Veggie Grill is an exception. Their food is really well seasoned and all their fake meats taste delicious (i loooove their chicken). I used to go here a lot when I had extra time on campus and was hungry (since it's conveniently by UCI).
Sushinoya sounds like Yoshinoya but it is definitely not like it at all. The place is pretty nice and the sushi is okay. It's a pretty good place to go if you like specialty rolls. I know the sushi isn't bad but it is not memorable.
Chinez is the typical Chinese restaurant and their food is pretty good. I live closeby and one of my roommates is addicted to this place. I really like their wet chow mein (which is lo mein). Their egg drop soup is really good too. Prices are pretty good for the large portions!
I just bought my Nissan here and the service was great! The deals were good. I am extremely pleased with my car and I haven't had problems with it yet.
This is one of my more liked boutiques on Melrose Ave. It's trendy and the prices are not too bad considering it's a shop on Melrose. I love to buy scarves here. The store is a good size and they have a good selection of clothes! Really friendly workers, too.
I love Tiamo! The store is small but it's stuffed with fashion from asia (mostly Japan). The clothes are unique and well-made and they have lots of cute shoes and accessories to match the fashionable style. The only downside is since they are well-made and imported from asia, the prices can be a bit high.
Typical "trendy" clothes but the store is really big and the selection is amazing. It's much better than Forever 21. My roommates love going here and buying bags and bags of clothes.
I think almost everyone save a few people in the South Bay went to driving school here. I don't know how they did it because the building is TINY. There's one room for studying/test taking and another room for lectures and videos. From the outside it doesn't even look like it could hold people, but somehow, hundreds and hundreds of kids pass through here. I learned a lot and I felt that the instructors were very good.
The new Guppy is very similar to the original one. The food is really good Taiwanese. I love their noodles. The shaved ice is also very good but it's not quite as epic as it used to be (they serve it in bowls now rather than serving it in HUGE mounds as they did before). It's a great place to come because it's open late. It's always really crowded though.
I used to drive up to San Gabriel sometimes to eat here, but now there's one close by in Irvine! The ramen is really good and flavorful. I also really like their gyoza.
