This place is huge! They have tons of new and used CDs, movies, and games. Granted people come and buy and sell stuff all the time it's a hit or a miss if you are looking for something specific, but the selection is still huge so you are bound to find something good.
Proof is pretty fun. You can get in with no cover and the bar serves HUGE shots for decent prices. The dance floor is small and there's lots of seating. There is a back area where you can chill outside (sometimes they sell bacon-wrapped hot dogs). Thursday nights is usually college night where college kids get together to drink and have some fun.
TK Burgers is a laid back burger restaurant. There are three locations. It's definitely my favorite burger place. Everything is so well seasoned. After eating here, even In n Out isn't that amazing!
The shabu shabu here is pretty good (not the best, but good nonetheless). The price is very good for shabu shabu and the service is great! Last time I went I felt bad because it was close to closing, but the server assured us that it was really no problem and then decided to talk to us the rest of the time.
It's located in the heart of Westwood and I'm sure everyone who goes to UCLA has eaten here before. The selection of noodles is ridiculous and what is more ridiculous is I haven't had anything bad there before really. It's not necessarily amazing food, but it's good and prices are great for the huge portions.
Yakitoriya is a typical yakitori restaurant. The size is pretty small so there is a wait during busy hours. The yakitori is good but the selection is pretty small (much smaller than shinsengumi). The prices are also high for the portions.
Life plaza has some food and a small shop that sells lots of cute asian goodies. It's enough to make any asian girl scream from happiness. The best thing is if you buy boba, it's buy one get one free! They don't even tell you, you just get 2.
This is where a lot of teenage/college kids come hang out. It's a very typical arcade that has pretty good games and it's a decent size. I only really love it because they have a "typing of the dead" game in japanese!!
The store is fairly small in this plaza but the layout is very organized and the selection is surprisingly very good for the size of the place. They have unique shades and tons of different types of beauty materials, from facemasks to eyeshadow. Very cute!
I love the unique clothes and accessories they sell at MetroPark. A lot of it is designer (not necessarily known) and very artistic. Not things that you would find at a regular store. The stores are always pretty big and sometimes they have live DJs. The only downside is at how high the prices are but I can't help but splurge every now and then because their clothes are so amazing!
