Armstrong Garden Center is right by the Torrance Airport. It's a very large store and they have almost everything to do with gardening. They have a bunch of equipment and fountains and so many plants and flowers! I have never gone without finding what I needed.
Curry Club is in the food court in Mitsuwa. The curry is a good price and the portions are decent. The great thing is there is a flat price for plain curry and then you pick what topping(s) you want on it and each topping has a price. I like eating here because it's fast. They also have good hiroshima ice cream.
Miyabi is located in the food court in the Mitsuwa. They have a decent selection and their portions are large and the prices are cheap. The food is not amazing, but it's not bad.
Maestro has good Japanese style food! It's located in the Mitsuwa food court and I eat here the most out of any of the other places there. The prices are alright and the portions are okay but their food is always consistently good. They also have a display case with the amazing-looking plastic food, like in Japan. They also have specials every day which are a good deal.
Santouka is conveniently placed in the Mitsuwa food court. The ramen here is amazing! It's one of my favorite places. The soup is so flavorful. The price can be a liiiiittle bit much for the portions, but it's worth it!
Men-bei is a cute ramen shop in a plaza (the one that has Mitsuwa). The ramen is pretty good, but definitely not the best. It's kind of small but it's definitely not as crowded anymore as it used to be.
I have been going to Video Japan since I was little. This place is conveniently placed in the same plaza as Mitsuwa. Their selection is just great! They have almost everything when it comes to TV shows, movies, and CDs. They get tv shows from Japan quite quickly, instead of weeks later like some places.
London Boots has tons of boots and shoes of high quality. The store is a decent size and crammed with footwear. The prices can be a bit high, but you can always bargain a bit with the owners (the workers are very friendly). A lot of the shoes are last-season or old-season shoes, so if that bothers you or paying a good amount for shoes like that bothers you, this is not the place for you.
Pixel Memory is a new purikura (Japanese Sticker Picture) shop. They have a decent amount of machines, but compared to other sticker picture places I've been to (Cue in Rowland Heights and StickiPicki in Irvine), the machines are older and not so much worth it. They just had to close their store down for flooding as week or 2 ago so hopefully they will be open again soon!
This is a very nice, clean Japanese bookstore. The books are expensive, but most Japanese new books and magazines are since they are imported. They also have CDs and some stationery! It's a fun place to come and read.
