The Douglas Community Golf Club is conveniently located at the edge of town. The eighteen hole course is always well maintained. The staff is always courteous and friendly.
The Glenrock Golf Course has developed into a fairly good economical golf course. A lot of hills and valleys, with several greens being obscured from the tee box. A challenge.
The Legion Golf Course located next to the airport is a great 9 hole, well maintained golf course. The staff are friendly and helpful. Tee times are recommended, but usually not that busy or hard to get a tee time.
The Red Cliffs Steak & Seafood is a great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. The staff is always courteous and friendly. The menu selection is great and the food is good.
You shouldn't pass thru Shoshoni without having an old fashioned malt at the Yellowstone Drug Store. You get the malt in a glass with the remainder served in the old style metal mixer. The hamburgers are great.
Ten Broek RV Park is located at the edge of town. The RV spaces are graveled with grass, picnic tables, and a lot of shade. The facilities are very clean. A great place to stay.
The Fountain of Youth RV Park is located just North of town. The RV lots are gravel and grass and mostly shaded. They have their own mineral hot spring pool on location. Facilities are clean.
Terry Bison ranch Resort is very conveniently located out of town but near the Interstate. The RV lots are large enough for big rigs. The facilities are clean. The offer meals and entertainment at the location. A fun place to stay.
The Fort Casper Campground is conveniently located on the river. The streets and parking areas are all dirt and consequently muddy when it rains and dusty when it is dry. The lots are adequately spaced.
The Dairy Land Drive In is a great place to meet for lunch or dinner. The service is always prompt, courteous and friendly. The burgers or other sandwiches are very tasty.
