Gilroy Veterinary Hospital
Whenever my dog was sick i took him here to Dr. Martinez who is a great veterinarian. The people here take very good care of the pets and they are very welcoming. The only thing is that the bill is kinda high. Its a bit pricey for my liking but it is a great veterinary hospital. If you need someone to take a look at your pet this is the place to go.
Sincere Hardware Supply
When my dad was repairing our house he liked to go here to buy the supplies. The prices were reasonable priced. The store had a great variety of stuff. My dad bought a bunch of tiles from here to repair our shower wall. The people here are very helpful and they try to help you find whatever you need. The store is on the corner of a street so parking is hard to find sometimes. I would recommend this place for all your repairing needs.
China Palace
My moms friend owns this restaurant so we come here every once in a while. The food her is really good whenever we come my moms friend makes the food for us. I especially like the dumplings and the walnut shrimp with special sauce. The restaurant is pretty big and the interior is nice. The waiters and waitresses are very nice and attentative. I would recommend this place to people who like to eat authentic chinese food.
Rainbow Station
When i was a kid i loved coming to this store because they had things like hello kitty. Which made it seem sorta like a sanrio store. The people who work here are not very helpful. I remember walking in one time and it was cold outside so i came in with my hands in the pockets of my sweater. The lady didnt even say hi she just followed my every move treating me like as if i was going to shop lift. So every time i picked up something to look at she glared at me. I felt uncomfortable so i left. I would recommend if you are young you should probably walk in with your parents.
Oriental Gourmet Chinese Restaurant
This is a shanghai style restaurant. The food here is very good and the people are nice. The restaurant is family owned and operated. There are many things on there menu but i wouldnt recommend all of it. The wontons here are great but the onion pancake is kinda oily and thick for my liking. But this place is definitely worth checking out.
Edenvale Pure Water
The water place is locate in a good size plaza. I went here one time to just fill up a bottle because my mom asked me too. The place is kinda small but it works. I filled up the bottle paid and left. My mom didnt like how the water tasted so we never went back again. There are a lot better water places. The water here in my moms words "taste like tap water" so i would not recommend to come here.
Alvin Pure Water
Its located in a small plaza and my parents went here a couple times to refill our water jugs. But the water here is okay not that great but it was cheap. The price per a gallon was reasonable but sometimes we would have to wait to fill up because there were quite a few people in the place. The place is not very big but it works. If your in the area then fill up your water here but if not then there are other better places in capitol or san jose area.
Capitol Pure Water
My family has gone to many places to refill our water jugs. This is probably one of the better ones that we have been too. My aunt recommended this place to my dad so we came here one day to fill up the water jugs just to give it a try. The water tasted pretty good compared to some of the other places that we had been too. Ever since then my parents always like to come here to fill up whenever we can. I would recommend this place if you care what quality of water you are getting.
Fast Pizza Delivery
This place has some good pizza it sure beats eating at pinochios pizza. The prices are great and the owner is very nice but he doesnt speak english that well so when you order make sure to be clear about what toppings you want on your pizza. The place is mostly meant for take out since the dining area is very small. If you live in Gilroy then delivery if free but anywhere else then your going to have to pay so its better to drive and get it yourself.
Gilroy Grocery Outlet
It is a great place to for bargains on groceries. But the store is not well lit. The people here are friendly depending on who is working that day. But the only thing i dont like about grocery outlet is the cans sometimes are dusty like they have been there for awhile or they have dents. But besides that the place is a good place to go find some bargains.
