The suites are beautifully decorated and very accomodating. The price is certainly right for the quality that you get. Breakfast is included but due to the amount of dogs in the house it was a little uncomfortable eating panacakes with doig hair flying about.
This place is undergoing a total renovation and is looking great. While the prices were somewhat high they really are the only acceptable hotel in Honesdale so it is jusitified. I recently made a reservation here for some out of town friends and the staff was very helpful and polite.
I wouldn't reccommend my worst enemy to stay here. When I am asked if there is a hotel in Honesdale close to my house I reply NO. The bar downstairs is known for it's not so nice characters, the rooms are trashy and the building is infested with roaches. This place is basically a hang out for the unsavory.
This place has it. The location is great, the rooms are newly renovated and clean and most of all the price is right. They just added an indoor pool to the place as well!
Elegant facility nestled in the quaint town of Hawley, PA. The food is to die for her the service is good as well. They have the ability to hold large events and are a must see in the winter!!
The trails themselves are nice, but the staff has not always been very experienced and the horses do not receive the best of care. It would not be my first choice to go to.
The barns are dark, concrete block buidlings with an awful lot of stalls for a property with an awful little amount of turn-out space. There is an indoor arena but it as well as very dark and dreary looking.
This place is huge. It boasts large fields, they make their own hay, a few different outdoor riding arena's and an indoor arena with attached stalls. I have been there a few times and it appears to be a very well run facility.
I ahve been to a few shows at this farm and the gorunds and facility are always clean and safe. The horse shows have fairly large turn-outs and everyone seems to really enjoy themselves here.
First let me say I really do like this place, but it may be culture shock if you are not from the area. It is not unusual for farm tractors to be parked out front and the interior is very "homey". If you are looking for a rootin tootin good time though with friendly people you will find it here.
