Bridal Suite
We were initially impressed with the sales person who waited on us and my daughter found the dress of her dreams. When we came back to pick up the dress, the person who we bought it from no longer worked there. My daughter lived out of state and had to fly in for fittings. The alteration staff was also a problem. The person who originally fitted the dress went in the hospital and couldn't finish the alteration. The new seamstress was nice but the dress never fit exactly right. The manager, John, tried to accomodate my daughter's schedule - but made it seem like quite an effort. The bridesmaid's dresses were all fine.
Jejojo Bagels Inc
This is a nice place to stop in for a quick breakfast or to pick up a dozen bagels. I stop here sometimes when going out of town and former Long Islanders ask us to please bring some bagels. They sometimes have specials and coupons. Check the local papers to get the best deal.
Voulapitta Greek Restaurant
This is a place my whole family enjoys. When my kids visit from out of state, it is always on the list of must-haves when in town. We especially like the gyros, regular and chicken. My personal favorite is the lemon soup. It is usually busy so best to call ahead with your order.
Diamond Jewelers
This is a nice store with a courteous staff. They run many sales, which makes their prices competitive. I only shopped in this location once, but in general, the chain carries nice quality merchandise and presents it well in attractive stores. I would always feel comfortable that I got a "good deal" at Diamond Jewelers.
Frank's Lake Grove Cleaners
I have been using Frank's cleaners for many years. I have entrusted them with important items such as my daughter's wedding dress. They have done a beautiful job with each and every garment. They have a courteous staff and a parking lot that is easy to get in and out of.
Albert D'Andrea: Allstate Insurance
Al has been our agent for over 20 years. He has treated us very well and has taken care of all of our insurance needs with a personal touch. We would recommend this agency highly.
Uncle Joe's Pizza
Uncle Joe's has always been a family favorite. It is one place that we all agree has good pizza. Recently we had dinner in the dining room and were pleasantly surprised. We had good food in a nice setting for a reasonable price. There is a reason this place is always busy!
Little Vincent's Pizza Restaurant
Little Vincent's is one of my favorite pizza places. I love the sauce and the thin crust of the pizza. It is always a place I want to stop for a slice of pizza. I am never disappointed.
