This Michael's is located across from the Superstition Springs Mall. This is where I go when I need floral items since it seems they have a better selection. This store is also great to go to when there are sales on scrapbook supplies since it seems to be a bit slower and they are rarely sold out at this location. I also watch for the 40% off coupons!
I love all of the Michael's stores! They have such a good selection of craft supplies. I prefer this particular location because it has a bigger selection of scrapbook supplies. I was just there on Christmas eve to get several pictures framed and had several employees graciously helping me even though it was almost time for them to close and go home to their families. They didn't hurry me or act put out. I appreciated that.
I love all of the Michael's stores! They have such a good selection of craft supplies. The last time I was at this location, the sales girl was very helpful in showing me where to buy the right paint for my project. I have always had a good experience here.
This was the very first As You Wish location that we went to. My daughters were invited to a birthday party here and had the time of their lives! They LOVED picking out the pottery and then painting it. The birthday girl got special gifts, too, which thrilled all the kids. It was great fun.
This is a new location so everything is new and updated. My kids love going in there to paint and then I get to go shopping afterward. The prices can be a bit high (depending upon what you choose as a project) but it is well worth it when you consider the excursion as entertainment. The kids LOVE it!
My daughters had so much fun doing the As You Wish Pottery Painting. They loved picking their project and then doing the paint design. My youngest was so proud of herself. The good thing is that this is something all ages can do together. It makes a great family activitie (or if hubby won't go, make it a girl's night).
We stop in here every month or so. You never know what you might find. The store is on the small side but they do usually have a lot to look at. Plus, the money goes to a good cause.
I've been going to Mo's in Newport since I was just a small child and have always loved the clam chowder. The Mo's in Forence is not as authentic as the other locations and the chowder is not nearly as good as it use to be. However, it's still a fun place to go and the food isn't bad.
We usually eat here when we use to visit Florence for the Rhodendron festival. They have decent food in a nice environment. The prices are a little high but the environment and food make up for it.
We did not stay here but we tour the hotel and had a drink in the bar on our way home from Virginia City. They have two distinct sides to the hotel. One side has all the modern conveniences and other side is just the way it was in the olden days with antique furniture and no tvs. We have decided that we will be taking a trip there next summer and plan to stay in the authentic side of this hotel.
