We were really surprised by this place. We were out in no man's land and stumbled across this place. They have a petting farm for the little ones and wine tasting for the big kids. We especially liked the Late Harvest Riesling. They have what appears to be a B & B and the grounds. May be good for a romantic weekend get away.
This Chinese restaurant has some of the largest portions I have seen. The food is great but don't order a meal by yourself unless you are very hungry. The interior need some updating but the carry-out is just fine.
Gus, the owner, prepares the food right in front of you. The chicken is flamed broiled and very tasty. Everything is fresh and homemade. Don't leave without getting some Carmel apple pie.
We went here because at least in a Big Boy, you know what you are getting. There food is pretty consistent. When we arrived, we were surprised by the many specials they offer. They are really tied into the community and try to alter their menu to fit the community's needs.
This restaurant is located in what was once downtown Grand Blanc. It is located in an old brick building that adds to the ambiance. The food is mostly Italian but could be described as American food.
This is not your typical sports bar. First of all, it is owned by two former Red Wings, Joe Kocur and Dave Lewis. It naturally has a Red Wing slant in the decor but displays a lot of signature memorabilia. The food is outstanding and are in large portions.
This is your typical whole-in-wall restaurant. It is located right on Lake Ponemah. It specializes in fish. You can't beat the fish they serve anywhere. This is a local landmark. Ask anyone where the best fish is in town and Frank's is the answer.
I think this restaurant recently changed name to the Asian Bamboo. Same ownership. The food here is excellent. I would recommend take out as the interior needs updating.
This place has one of the best selections of cigars I have come across. I am fond of the Romeo & Juliets and they have a huge variety. Their prices are reasonable and they are willing to negotiate.
This restaurant is located in the old city right downtown. The decor was very nostalgic with the brick walls and antique furniture. The food was fantastic. I was there for lunch and it wasn't too crowded but I can imagine for dinner it might be full.
