If you go to Storm Florist, you can see very antique looking furniture. The decor looks very old fashion. So I was thinking that this place might be too old fashion when it came to floral arrangement. However I was wrong. I looked through a book of different arrangements and was so impressed by their creativity. I would absolutely here again. Their prices might be higher than the average florist, but they are very professional and have great ideas.
Dr. Chao is super nice. He is also very understanding and really knows how to listen. I always go to his Adams Avenue office, but I know he has one in the UTC La Jolla Area too. Both of his offices accepts credit/debit cards, which is very convenient. He is a really busy psychiatrist and always seems to be booked. However I can tell that he really cares and wants to see progress in his patients. He gives you his pager number if there is ever anything you need to ask him. I leave messages on his phone asking him questions about medications or just anything, and he usually answers back within a couple of hours. I would reccmmend him to anyone! I actually heard about him through a friend. That is how great his is as a doctor, you just want to tell everyone to go to him.
I hosted a party and wanted at least 2 open bars. My friend recommended me Best Beverage Catering. He told me how they were very reputable and have been in busy for years. Let me just say that they are a bit expensive. If you are looking for a cheap deal, don't go here. However if you want great quality service, professionalism, and friendly staff choose these guys! The bartenders were extremely friendly and knew how to make even the newest trendy drinks. I am so impressed by their work.
One of the best places to get oysters and sushi. Sushi is my favorite food, therefore I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants. This place is probably the best place in Coronado. My boyfriend and I always order at least a dozen oysters every time we go here. All of their sushi is very fresh. They have great uni too! I would recommend this place to anyone who loves raw food.
I was the maid of honor for my friend's wedding. I did some research and decided that this company was not only affordable, but reputable. I hired them to cater for the engagement party. Their food was delicious, and looked very decorative for the occasion. The staff were very professional and served us quickly. I could tell they were very well trained. This place is really affordable, just tell them your budget and they will help you plan everything when it comes to food.
Bowler's Depot is a place where you can get inexpensive bowling gear. They will custom make bowling balls for you too. I bought some bowling shoes for a great price. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the staff wasn't really helpful. I don't bowl often therefore didn't know much about it. I asked for help many times, but the worker kept going to the back of the store to do something. Oh well that was just my experience, don't let that keep you from going here.
La Jolla is known for luxurious sophistication, La Donna is the perfect example of that. There are so many boutiques in La Jolla, but this is my favorite. Their decor and designs looks like something you would see in Europe. It is very classy and sophisticated, with a relaxed San Diego feeling. Their staff is very helpful and seriously waits on you hand and foot. ( You pay for it in the end right?) If you don't have the money to spend here, just visit to see the stylish yet sophisticated fashion displayed. You will probably get some great ideas to dress yourself.
This is a very retro, old fashion hamburger restaurant. It is good to see something different. They serve big hamburgers are a inexpensive price. It is a little too greasy for my taste, but they are tasty. I wouldn't go here every week though, because it is too greasy.
When my friend told me she wanted to try "Drakula" I didn't know what she was talking about. Drakula is a Romania Restaurant. They're decor is simple, yet you get amazing service and delicious food. I never had Romanian food, and the waitress was helpful in helping me choose what to eat. The portion sizes a huge! For these portion sizes, the price is very cheap! Their wine was also inexpensive. If you are looking to try a new kind of food and learn about another culture, stop by Drakula! I am so impress with every here.
I tend to say away from food where I had can't use utensils. However I will make an exception for this place. I love their subs! I tried the Philly Cheese Steak and it was the best Philly Steak I ever had! That isn't the best part. They have these buy one get one free deals on cheese steaks on certain days. Imagine getting 2 full size portion for the price of 1. What a great deal! I cannot go back to eating Subway after this.
