This is a small shop with select merchandise and memorabilia. It's fun to look at! I prefer a larger selection though.
I haven't tried a lot of variations of yoga, but I don't think I will find a better one than hot yoga. This is the only hot Bikram Yoga studio in town. It's small, and it's HOT. Although the yoga poses are the same, there are different instructors whose personalities make it feel different. It is expensive so you need to make a commitment. Customer service could improve, my friend and I were offered a month of yoga for a very low introductory price after our initial visit, but she was leaving town for two weeks and the owner refused to let her month start when she returned! What's up with that???
NW Personal Fitness in Vancouver is a small club. If you like the big massive gym feel, this isn't the club for you. The owners are very nice and are very invested in you. They are also active in the community and offer many programs to the public where you don't have to be a member of the gym to participate. Love the Girlfriends Half Marathon!
Keene Computers is a great place to take a sick computer. The owner is really nice. The techs can give you some idea of the problem just from your description. Prices are posted on the wall so you know in advance how much you'll have to pay.
I love the Perfume Gallery. They have a large selection of perfumes (including some fragrances that are harder to find). Prices are competitive with the bigger stores. You'll have fun trying out all the scents!
J & J is a nice addition to the usual mall food shops. You do get to pick your meat. It's not as good as some of the other Mongolian Grills around town but it's better than you'd expect.
This is such a nice service to offer at the mall. If you buy something that needs a little better fit, Express can do it while you wait. I used to work for a retail boutique and we used them a lot if we needed something done in a hurry. And they do an excellent job.
This shop offers a lot of knock off handbags. Prices are cheap (and the quality reflects that). There are some fun pieces. This will appeal to the teen crowd. The shop also carries some really pretty scarves.
Corioliss offers its high end hair straighteners through a kiosk in the mall. The line is said to be comparable to Chi. The clerks will demonstrate on your own hair before you buy and they definitely have skill with the irons! Though a bit pricey for me, I'm sure they last a lot longer than your basic Conair iron.
There is nothing better than a good, old-fashioned carousel for kids. I'm so glad it's at our mall! It's fun to watch even though my kids are too old now.
