At first I thought "How nice for my pooch and how bad for my wallet - I'll shop here a lot!" However, after spending $69 on a Polartec parka for my puppy, the velcro closure came off at the seams, only three days after I purchased the item. No problem, I thought. Just take it back and exchange it, right? Wrong! Apparently, the return policy normally is for exchange or store credit only (posted on a sign in the store, which I did read before buying!), except when the item is defective (NOT part of the written policy!). In that case, the customer is not only being punished by having the faulty goods to begin with but also having to wait for the stuff to be shipped to the manufacturer, repaired, and sent back to the store. How long does this take? "Oh, uuuuhm, well, we don't really know - but it shouldn't take too long." So, my puppy has to be out in the frigid cold air with a wind chill of 5 F until further notice. I wasn't even allowed to BUY A NEW item! "... because we're almost out of that size. I mean, we don't really have any left." What? They actually took the sample parka (in the size we needed) of the rack while we were standing there. Overall verdict: Never again!
