Best Indian food we have eaten. Meals are full of flavor and cooked to perfection, and food allergens can be easily avoid thanks to the knowledgeable wait staff and hands-on owner. Our dinner was very pleasant, and we look forward to coming back again and again!
We have used AFAB twice for outdoor painting projects. Overall the quality & price has been good, but we have noticed a tendancy to start the project and then not come back to finish it for awhile. As long as you aren't in a hurry I recommend them.
We have used Applegate Broadband for our hi-speed internet needs since moving to the Applegate Valley in 2005. For the most part we have had good service. There have been periods where it was sketchy, but since a new tower was put in last year we have not had problems. In general we find our calls are returned fairly quickly, but this is a mom and pop kind of business, so there can be delays.
Lehi Pump Service works on wells. We have had to call them out several times when we have had problems getting our water. They are very efficient and come as soon as they can. We find their prices to be reasonable.
Dr Anne is very nice, and also supportive of community causes. She practices what I have come to think of as mainstream chiropractic where the goal is to keep you comfortable until you can come back. It seems many chiropractors do not have a goal of true healing, but of ongoing therapy. If that is the type of chiropractic you are looking for then give Dr. Anne a try. If you prefer a chiropractor who is not looking for a long term relationship then check out Owen and Owen in Grants Pass.
I had Spring Air out to my house for trouble with my thermostat. The technician who came was very knowledgeable and quite good at teaching me how to program the thermostat. He also offered to change out my air filters at no extra charge. Spring Air is truly about customer service.
Nadine is a Chinese doctor and acupuncturist who really knows her stuff. My family has seen a number of Chinese doctors over the years, and some are good, and some are bad. Nadine is top notch. She didn't just learn the points to put the needles in. She also has a full understanding of diagnosing in Chinese medicine terms, and is a true healer. She has been effective when nothing else has. Her clinic is located in a little strip mall out in the Applegate Valley next to the Applegate Store. You can call to find out her hours, and then it is on a drop in basis, with the very reasonable fee of $20/treatment.
Dr. Veri has a very good reputation within the medical community of being a knowledgeable diagnostician, and it is well deserved. We saw him for a second opinion when a diagnosis had been made that didn't fit my 15 year old daughter's symptoms. Dr. Veri was very kind, and gentle. He gave my daughter a thorough examination followed up by x-ray and came to the conclusion, based on her other symptoms, that she had been misdiagnosed by the previous orthopedic doctor. He specialized in foot and ankle orthopedics and I highly recommend him.
I can't recommend Dr. Van Horne. He saw my daughter for ankle joint pain and gave her a diagnosis that was not confirmed by MRI, but he was adamant that it was the correct diagnosis even though her symptoms didn't match either. He told my daughter to follow his directions of wearing a boot for 3 months and even if he was wrong "it wouldn't' kill her". I thought this was a very insensitive thing to say to a 15 year old in pain. When she tried to tell him that she was also experiencing tingling in her fingers and elbow he responded with "everyone has that." We eventually went to Dr. Veri of Southern Oregon Orthopedics in Medford OR who agreed that she had been misdiagnosed. My recommendation is to just start with Dr. Veri for foot/ankle ortho needs.
We visited Valley Immediate Care when our doctor's office sent us there because they were too busy to see us. My daughter was seen by a nurse practitioner who was very thorough and very professional. I highly recommend VIC.
