The thing I like about Ota is that he explains clearly and patiently all the intricacies of your child's dental problems. Fascinating stuff. He shows you the cavities or whatever the problem is, xrays, etc, and he will answer any and all questions. He is good with kids and can relax them with reassuring words. Especially when they get The Shot. And he gives them toys after the ordeal .. that seems to take the kids' mind off experience. Nice office with toys. The only bummer is that he no longer has Sat. hours.
Katsura has been working on my daughter's teeth for about a year to fix a cross-bite. He is very good with children ... explains the procedure, can talk to kids to relax them, explains everything to the parents, and will even allow the curious younger brother to observe. Has Sat. hours too.
I've been going to this guy since the early 1990s. He is great. Samaha is old school no-nonsense dentist who doesn't try to sell you every procedure and gizmo. He has the same staff and everyone is nice, caring, and on the ball.
This is a real man's electronic store. Old school. The kind that existed 30 years ago before ... like Radio Shack before Radio Shack went Hollywood. Components are in overflowing boxes, the guys fill out receipts by hand, there is dust and rust at the bottom of the boxes, there are things that have been sitting on shelves for years (judging by the dust). The guys behind the counter are gruff and will help you forever and they know their stuff. Not like car salesmen t Fry's and Radio Shack. Just an unbelievable find!
If you're looking for components, test equipment, cables, IC sockets, protoboards, this place has it (even vacuum tubes). Prices are good and selection is good. You can even cut your own cables and they're open on Sat.
This was a vintage hardware store when they were in business. You could get the hard-to-find items at a good price. And you could get complimentary popcorn for the kids, and then walk over to Tokyo 77 for a cheap meal.
This place has a lot of great pizza (and other Italian food). Prices are reasonable, service is a little slow in the outside seating area, but nice when the weather is nice.
A nice, uncrowded cafe-like setting to get boba or ice-cream located among retail shops and restaurants. Serivce is friendly and fast, setting is cozy, and the outside seating is nice weather permitting.
I've been going here for years for lunch. This is an institution over 20 years old. The food is tasty, service fast. Prices are in line with other restuarnts, and the good sized serving.
I go here frequently when I need "stuff." Wide selection of typical hardware. Staff is friendly and knowledgable, and the selection of nuts (not the staff), bolts, nails, and screws is great. Good prices, good service, and they also sell candy so you can bribe your kids to go with you.
