Hole in the wall Japanese restuarnt. Good sushi and lunch specials. A little pricey but worth it. Specials are good too. Portions are reasonable .. won't stuff your face here, but won't starve either.
Good basic Japanese food. Large servings. Seafood dishes are deep fried. Teriyaki sauce is unique but get it on the side otherwise will overpower dish.
Good pizza and good deals, especially the lunch specials. Their calzone is good too but you better be ready for it: A huge _mofo_. Atmosphere is loud but in a good way.
I like the Thai fried rice. Good portions and made to order. Tasty and not too spicy. Other dishes are solid but not outstanding. Quantities in general are hearty.
Good place for sandwiches if you want a solid, cheap, and fast sandwich. Sepis is a Westwood classic and has been around forever. If you feel like a pitcher of beer, they have those too in the back. Hole in the wall.
So this place looks like a dump but it's been around since at least the early 1990s when I started going there. The food is safe and cheap, and they're open till 2am. Good for those times when you need something a sandwich.
Their Bi Bim Bop is excellent -- tasty and hearty. They give real kimchee too. Other dishes are very tasty. If you like lots of good Korean, Gushi is for you. Highly recommend.
Their breakfast, burritos, and specials are tasty and priced to go. Service is fast and the food good. Wait time is about 10min. Crowded during lunch.
