We ordered takeout and the service was excellent as we all had special requests. While we waited we looked at the great map of the Mediterranean area they had on one wall -- I love maps! The food was fabulous and very filling! The prices were more than reasonable. This is definitely a place that will see return business from us.
The decor is 50's with jukeboxes, pictures, and furnishings to match the era. The food is on the greasy side but staisfactory. It was also one of the only nearby places we could find that opened late in the evening. We were hungry and the food was filling. The service was pretty good.
This small restaurant across from Japantown was a real find! We had luncheon specials that were affordable and delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere casual and comfortable.
Watch your 1st step -- it's easy to trip! Once inside, the food is delicious and filling! It's also very reasonably priced and nicely displayed. We've had both lunch and dinner here and would definitley return.
My first visit, after positive reviews from friends, and it was great! The price was more than reasonable, the selection wonderful, and the service excellent. We'll certainly be among their many return customers!
Convenient and close to our home. Nice to have access to ethnic foods without going downtown. Reasonable prices and good variety of foods. Owners can be abrupt but service is usually fine. Store is small and has a cluttery feeling.
I loved this store when I first arrived in Davis! They have some beautiful scarves and unusual jewelry. It's a little pricey for the clothes but fun to look through. I was very sorry to hear they are getting ready to close business.
First saw Amuse when I was shopping with my college age daughter. It has some great jewelry and hair clips -- a great place for getting gifts. My daughter really enjoys this store.
I brought in my "on it's last wheels" bicycle to see if they coul salvage it for in Davis commuting. I really appreciated the staff's honest response that I would be better off getting a new basic bike to meet my needs -- even though it wasn't with them! My sister is a seerious bicycist and she says they're really reliable.
Upstairs in the downtown area -- you have to know to look for this store. I went with my sister (a real knitting fiend) and loved the variety of textiles. It's so nice to have a yarn shop in town -- great place for gifts for all those talented and quick fingered knitters you know.
