The Morrison Inn
The Morrison Inn is a nice place to go for Mexican food if you're near Morrison. It's pretty typical Mexican-restaurant food, but the place is well lit and pleasantly decorated. I'd recommend giving it a try.
Golden Natural Foods
Golden Natural Foods doesn't have an incredibly large selection of food, but they do have a decent number of natural and organic items. Located close to downtown Golden, this store is a great place to pick up a few quick groceries. The prices are generally reasonable.
Firstbank
I've banked with First Bank of Boulder ever since I got my savings account when I was about 6 years old. I have no complaints about the service I've received, and the tellers are always friendly and helpful. The Internet banking service is easy and convenient.
Bank Bar & Grill
The staff at the Bank Bar and Grill are very friendly and helpful. The food is quite good and fairly substantial for the price. The desserts are delicious.
Table Mountain Inn
While I haven't stayed at the hotel, the Table Mountain Inn Restaurant is a very nice place to go for a meal. The food is tasty, and they have some unique selections. The decor and atmosphere are great, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant also does great catering with a nice breadth of appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Beau Jo's Pizza
My cross country team in high school always would stop here on the way back from a meet. While the restaurant is very popular and thus often crowded, the pizza is definitely worth the wait. If you like deep-dish pizza, the Mountain Pies are some of the best around, and the Prairie Pies are quite good if you prefer thin-crust pizza. They have a good salad bar, too, with a wide selection of items. The service is very friendly, and the decor in the restaurant is neat-- they have plenty of old Western stuff, and then they tack up napkins that people decorate-- you can even submit your own if you want!
Mannie & Bo's Pizzeria
Our Circle K club from Mines went here all the time for pizza. They were always very nice about reserving plenty of space for us even when we weren't sure exactly how many people were coming. All the servers are very friendly and accommodating, and the pizza is delicious. The Hawaiian pizza is a little different here because they use cream cheese on the pizza, but it is a favorite for many. I highly recommend Mannie and Bo's Pizzeria.
Carolina Bar-B-Que
When I spent a summer out in Aiken a few years ago, everyone agreed that Carolina Bar-B-Que was the best place to go for barbecue. When I went and ordered the chicken meal, I saw written on the example Styrofoam container "1/2 chicken" in the main compartment. I thought, "What do they mean by that?" When the meal came, I realized they definitely meant you get half of a chicken-- it's a great value because you get a very large amount of tasty food.
Mario's Pizza & Ristorante
The food at Mario's is delicious, hearty Italian food. The restaurant has a quiet, friendly, family atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a good meal with family or friends.
Quality Inn
I've stayed twice at the Holiday Inn Express in Gunnison, and it is a fine place. It's located close to downtown, which is nice, and the rooms are clean, the pool is nice, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is tasty.
