The food is very good at Red Plate. Pizza slices and calzones are fantastic. The food is served quickly.
Ordering to go is a good bet for the lunch crowd, because sometimes it is hard to find a seat during lunch time.
Great atmosphere for the 20-something crowd. They play great music, have no cover, and have really decent drink prices.
Get there early - before 10:30 PM, because it gets crowded.
Tiny Tots is a wonderful alternative for parents who opt for a co-op preschool for their children. The time slot is only two hours, two days a week. This is great for 3 year olds who might not be ready for a full day or 4-5/day a week program.
The teachers are incredibly patient. They take the time to give the kids individual attention when needed. The class is a good size. Parents are slotted to volunteer once per month, and if they cannot volunteer, the option to pay $10.00 for a sub is available. This works great for me because I have two smaller children and no one to wacth them so that I can volunteer.
The children put on a fun and very cute holiday show in December. They learn so many things too. My 3 year old came home one day and recited the Pledge of Allegiance! She also learned how to put on her coat by herself, which is something she did not know prior.
A fun learning experience, for much less then the private schools charge!
My three year old attened 3 weeks of their 4 week summer camp sessions. The duration is actually longer than her regular pre-school day - and she loved it. The teachers were fabulous, patient and friendly. The volunteers were amply and very helpful. They did crafts every day, learned about themes (dinosaurs, animals, pirates, etc).
My daughter could not wait to go back each day and was very sad when it ended.
I am looking forward to signing her up again this summer!
The class runs from Monday - Thursday, so Fridays are a free day to do something else with family or friends.
Although the jewelry at Jared (and the repair pricing) can be on the expensive side, they do provide phenomenal customer serivce.
I had a bracelet repaired and the cost was more than I would have liked, but I had them fix it because I knew it would be done well.
I also had screw backs added to a pair of diamond earrings. Again, pricey, but well worth the price I paid so that I will not lose an earring.
They have a nice play area for children to keep them busy while the parents browse or work with a specialist. Also, they have a very nice refreshment station for their customers.
I worked with a specialist to design a ring. She was very patient and gave many suggestions on how to make the ring more cost effective for us. I appreciated that!
Great customer service!!
We shop at Ikea often. I have purchased a set of everyday kitchen dishes, which are great. I have broken a few and am thrilled that I can go back to the store and buy individual items to replace.
We purchased a kitchen table and chairs - very inexpensive - which is great for our children, because the table and chairs take a beating - and are still holding up well. We know when we have to replace it, we can do so cheaply.
I love that they offer such a wide variety of items for such a fair price. I have purchased many kitchen items there. And, they also provide lots of great storage solutions, which is important to me, a mom of three children.
I do agree that the layout can be confusing and difficult to navigate...but overall - this store is FANTASTIC!
I live very close to Weis, so I go there for all of my grocery needs. I am impressed with their customer service. Their bakery department is one of the best around. They make wonderful donuts (my husband and kids LOVE them) and muffins. When my inlaws come to MD to visit, they always leave with a 4 pack of muffins.
Their sales are great. And I love that they run campaigns every so often where I get points for the money I spend and at the end of the campaign, I can get up to 20% off of a grocery order. For a family of 5, it is great for us.
I am not overly impressed with their produce department. Many times I will buy items only to come home and find mold on them....and then I have to go back to make an exchange or return (which they always happily do for me).
Overall, it is a great store, and I do recommend it!
My husband and I originally went into Cousins to order a greek pizza, but when we saw their sandwich stuffers, we decided to try those instead.
They are SO good! They beat Subway or Quiznos (both of which are right in the same shopping center) any day.
I wish I could rate the rest of the menu, but we liked the stuffers so much, that we have only ordered those when we go there!
They take a small loaf of bread, cut out the top, add the sandwich filling (whatever you choose to get) and then add the top. The breadis soft inside and crusty outside. SO GOOD!
When we moved to this area, we tried several take-out Chinese "restaurants" and were disappointed with the lenghty delivery times and poor tasting food.
We received a brochure for Chopstix so we decided to order - for pick up. We were SUPER impressed with the taste and quality of the food we ordered. the service is wonderful - quick orders, very nice staff.
We never order form any other Chinese restaurants anymore! We highly recommend this establishment.
Also, for eating in, the atmosphere is awesome. And, my husband always recommends their sushi to everyone!
