While I loved all that this school offers for it's children, I really felt there was a lack of communication between the teachers and the parents. My daughter attended this school for a short time, and in that time there were a couple of instances that were brushed off and not really addressed. I was disappointed in the way issues were handled, and even more upset that I was paying a good amount of money. I know other moms who love this school, and I had high hopes - but I can only say that my experience wasn't so great.
My daughter attended one of those overly expensive preschools, which we had problems with and eventually had to remove her. We looked into The Woodlake Child Development Center and right away we felt comfortable with the staff. The teachers are amazing and so wonderful with the children. I'm especially happy with the communication between the teachers and parents. My daughter loves attending her two half days a week and I'd highly recommend this school to other moms.
I have to say, when we first walked into this place, I wasn't taken away by the decor. It actually looks a little rundown. Although I'm not sure we'll go back - the food itself, was pretty good.
I have to say, with a place named "The Pour House", I was expecting more unique beers on tap - but at least they had more than Miller Lite! The place doesn't look very fancy - but my barbecue sandwich was awesome. I have to say I was also impressed with the service.
I've been going to this place for years and really love the cozy, small pub atmosphere. They always have great beers on tap (and one on cask) and a fun beer menu with colorful explanations of each beer. The food is always good too! One of my favorite things to order is the Brie, Pineapple and Chicken Sandwich - it's to die for. If you're in the mood for a local pub dining experience, this is totally your place.
I've been to this pub many times and always love ordering their Shephard's Pie with a yummy Scottish Ale! This was my husband's choice for place to eat on his Birthday as well. You can't beat the old pub atmosphere, home cooking and genuinely warm service.
If you're looking for an upscale pub, this is your place. They have a whole menu of just beer, and a good majority of those are on tap! The food here is also really good. Some of my favorite dishes are the Greek Salad (with feta and mozzerella) and the Stuffed Pretzel Sandwich (stuffed with sausage, mustard and sauerkraut). Some of the beers can be a bit pricey, but they do have specials and cheap beer day on Sundays! The kids' menu is even upscale with things like "Toasted PB & J". If you enjoy a good meal along with a great beer, you should really check this place out.
