After moving to Clayton, I discovered this little gem on a diner. My home town had a diner so much like this one, offering meats and sides, all at the patron's choice, and coming from the kitchen tasting like Grandma's cooking!
They also have great salads, burgers and hot dogs.
But, the best part is their dessert! If you head to the Comet, don't skip dessert!
My only con for the Comet is that the waitresses are often over worked and service will get slow.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for great local southern food!
We have eaten at La Cocina many times. Each time we have been promptly seated and served chips and salsa. Our drink orders were always filled quickly and kept full. We also had no issues with getting our food in a timely manner.
The food was very affordable. This location often offers coupons in the local clipper. You can't beat the entree prices for a family of 4-- especially with a coupon!
I chose Dr. Williams as my primary care physician when we moved to Clayton. I have been his patient for 4 years now. Every time I see Dr. Williams, he seems to remember who I am and greets me with a beaming smile! He takes the time to ask the important questions and will often ask some personal questions to offer a sense of familiarity.
His nurse is equally helpful and friendly!
The front desk has changed over the years but over all stays pleasant and helpful.
I would recommend Dr. Williams for general health care!
THough I have never consigned there, I do like to shop there. The quality of the items they resale is amazing with prices that can't be beat! I was able to purchase several gifts for my children that looked new, all for under $20!
The only con is that it is TOOOO cluttered in the store. It is very difficult to navigate and would be horrible for those with disabilities to try to get in and out of this store.
My first trip to Bushibans was awesome! They offer some of the best african coffees that I have ever tasted. They aroma was amazing! They also use fair trade coffees which is really important to me as a consumer.
Their atmosphere is relaxing and the staff very helpful and attentive.
In my efforts to find a practice more in line with my thinking and one much smaller than my previous OB, I chose Physicians for Women. I interviewed D.r Sheshadri and gave a lot of lip service to the things I asked him (in regards to being all natural, birth choices, and doulas). When it came right down to it, Dr. Sheshadri is ALL medical intervention and LOVES to do c-sections.
I ended up seeing Dr. Seidel, his partner for the remainder of the pregnancy. He was more supportive of my choices and desire for a natural birth. My one snafu with him was that he insisted I take the 3-hour glucose challenge test though the nurse messed up the one-hour. WHen I refused, he proceeded to label me with GD the remainder of my pregnancy. I was NOT happy about that nor the fact that he told the hospital that I had GD! That meant unneccesary finger pricks for me and heels sticks for my newborn!
The office has gotten TOO busy. They continued to accept patients long beyond where they should have cut off.
One nurse in there is terrible. I believe she is Dr. Sheshadri's nurse. Dr. Seidel's nurse, Judi, was awesome.
The front desk leaves little to be desired.
I would not recommend them to anyone who desires low intervention medicine for labor and delivery. I also wouldn't recommend them to new comers because, quite frankly, they already have way more than they can handle.
Our first experience with Kate was amazing! We took part in a special photography session near NC State at the arboretum.
The weather was gorgeous! Kate was able to capture that fabulous sunlight on my children. And, though my children wouldn't sit still long enough for anything, she was able to captivate their attention to get some of the best shots I have ever seen of my children! Kate also managed to get 2 amazing shots of my daughter and me that we will cheerish for years to come!
Her prices are more than affordable for the quality of service she provides. And, even when we had a snaffu with the printing company, Kate was quick to phone them and straighten it all out!
Amazing photos! Unbeatable service!
Dr. Darla is one of the best in Urgent Care! Her practice has awesome hours and is quick in responding when you have a sick baby during "off hours".
My daughter had suffered from a fever the whole weekend and we could not wait another day to see her regular pediatrician. I arrived at Pediatric Express when they opened, was greeted by a wonderfully nice receptionist, and waited very little time. The waiting area was well stocked with magazines and child appropriate toys and TV.
We didn't wait long and met a great nurse and then, Dr. Darla herself! She was thorough and helpful!
When you need urgent care, I couldn't recommend anyone better!
Dr. Ramsdell has been our pediatrician since the birth of my daughter in February of 2007. She was at the hospital the morning my daughter was born not 2 hours post partum!
I was impressed with her quick response and knowledge.
Dr. Ramsdell has always been willing to work with my and my concerns about my children's health. She is responsive and caring. And, to top it all off, she LISTENS to the parent.
We are on a delayed vaccination schedule and she fully supports our wishes and vaccine concerns. She also offers alternative treatments to avoid over use of medications.
I couldn't recommend a better doctor!
I frequent the White Oak Target as it is the closest to my home. The store is ALWAYS clean. The associates are always helpful. During Christmas, I purchased a tree. AN associate was quick to respond to my need to have it carried. He hauled it to the front for me and then out to my car!
Their babies and toddlers section always has a full stock and I never have trouble finding what I need-- INCLUDING all natural products for my children.
I would recommend this Target to anyone!
