I liked Champps better before. I think they got bought out by another company. Please bring back the gyro! The Greek salad is still there thank goodness. And at least stop serving the dense floppy so-called steak fries.
But still, they are open 365 and it's a favorite hang out. Plus, the servers are nice.
Nice little place to grab a quick bite for lunch or if you're shopping in Lincoln Square. Nothing out of the ordinary, but friendly staff. The portions could be better though.
The chili dog is the best I've ever had. They get the meat from Rudy's meat market I was told. Paul is usually tending bar when we go in and he is good....very attentive and fast. Plus they have nice beers on tap. I was surprised because the wings are really good too. -Never had a bad experience here.
The burger really is awesome. I don't know what it is, but the meat is seasoned perfectly and it just tastes good. The fries are yummy (extra crispy even better). Wish they had onion rings though....I always crave them with a burger. But oh well. It's a casual place with quick and friendly service. It's nice to see that something good still remains in Deep Ellum.
This is our favorite place to dine in Dallas. The food is excellent....Monday night all-you-can-eat crab claws is the best! Everything else on this menu does not disappoint either. The waitstaff is second to none....truly. The service is consistently spot-on every time. Some other restaurants in Dallas need to take notes from them.
We love this place. It's a diamond in the rough. We went in a few months ago expecting it to be just a take-out kind of Italian place, but it's so charming.
It's BYOB (that's a plus...especially in this economic situation), so just grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the food. The calamari is a favorite and the pizza is good too. Plus the staff is very polite and welcoming. Quite a little gem in the area. Wish we lived close by!
The outdoor patio area upstairs is charming. You've got a nice view and it's a terrific place to take your out of town guests or just to enjoy yourself. The food is nice as well. However, the past 2 times we have come there, we have been greeted quite rudely. The last time, we came in and wanted to have drinks and dessert. We were shooed up to the very smoky, overly crowded bar area. When we asked for a table, the hostess acted miffed. The couple next to us seemed to be having a little difficulty with the front door staff as well. We were seated and the waiter was very accommodating and had a terrific attitude. Nice outdoor atmosphere, but the rudeness is not necessary...really.
We were looking for something different and we found it. We thought it was a restaurant with a little cigar club in the back, but it's really a cigar place with a little dining room in the back. There are about 6 tables. The dining area is very dim and you've got wine racks surrounding you. The menu is nice, nothing out of the ordinary, but the food is pretty good. The staff is very friendly as well. It's a nice find....something other than the chain-type place or the pretentious, overpriced "fine dining" joint.
We did not have a great experience here due to the fact that we felt the staff had poor attitudes, but a friend of mine still takes her child here and says that the staff has really become a lot nicer.
Dr. Agrawal is very caring and is a good listener. She doesn't push like some dr.'s do. And she seems to really care about the children as individuals. Would be willing to give this office another chance if my child's current Dr. moved or such.
