Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

My family has lived near this restaurant for three years but only just recently stopped in to check them out. They have great portion sizes and the prices are comparable to other Chinese restaurants we have been to. My husband really enjoys the singapore noodles, they are good and spicy here! My kids like the egg drop soup and dumplings, and I love their egg rolls. They cook your food when you order it and it always comes out within 10 minutes. The cons are that they do not have any high chairs and have very little seating. The employees are always very nice.

S Y Dentistry: Yen Shurlang DDS

I had to have pretty much my whole mouth fixed about 2 years ago and Dr. Yen did an awesome job! I ended up having to make about 5 trips and spend a total of 16 hours in the chair but it was well worth it! The office is small and she is the only dentist there, but her staff is very sweet and they really take the time to get to know you and to do the job the right way. I never had to wait very long and have always been able to get an appointment within a matter of days. Great personal service!

Pacho's Mexican Grill

My family and I eat at Pacho's pretty often, normally on Sundays after church. Their food is always good and comes out pretty fast. Their fresh made salsa is my favorite, my husband likes to go there just for that! They do get REALLY busy on Sundays because of the church crowds, but they have a good bit of space and a variety of seating options, so normally the wait isn't too bad. The only negative thing is that sometimes you get a server who is very inattentive, which can really mess up your meal. It only seems to be 2 or 3 of their servers that are this way though, we just try not to sit in their sections when we go. Their prices are fantastic, and the portions are hefty. My family of 2 adults and 6 children can always eat for under $30, which is awesome! The Pollo Sabrosa is my favorite dish, my husband and I usually share it because it is a HUGE piece of chicken! My kids love to get the kiddie nachos with cheese and beans, and at $2 each, that is a steal!

This is like the old candy stores you see in the movies! You walk in and there is just candy, candy, candy, everywhere! They have new candy as well as classic candy that you remember from your own childhood. They also have hand dipped ice cream and other goodies like cookies. I think my husband enjoyed this place more than my children! It makes me feel a bit nostalgic, and my kids love hearing about things from when I was a kid! The employees there are wonderful and understanding of children and their excitement to be in such an awesome candy store. This store has been a wonderful addition to the Covington Square business area, if you are in the area, definitely check it out!

Conyers Pharmacy

I have never actually used their pharmacy services but they do have a little deli inside that has been there for ages. They have simple things like grilled cheese, BLT, PB&J, hot dogs, chips, etc. They also have the best lemonade around. They make it right in front of you when you order it, one glass at a time. They also have hand dipped ice cream available. We always went there when I was a child and it has become one of those places that I now take my own children too. There is also a lovely garden right behind the pharmacy where you can sit by the water, watch the fish and enjoy the beautiful flowers. Wonderful place to take a family, partner or just go to treat yourself!

Greek Pizza House Restaurant

I lived around the corner from this restaurant about 20 years ago when I was a little girl. My mother used to take me there to eat for our special treat. It is family owned and operated and they always aim to please. The interior is a bit dated, so it looks a little funny, but the food is still delicious. I take my children there now, it has become a family tradition. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Colossus Pizza

My family and I have been going to Colossus for years. They have a wonderful staff and the food is always delicious. They have a variety of fairly authentic greek food to choose from. Definitely not just pizza! They have a great sampler platter that my husband and I share, it has a good mix of food on it. The service is always superb and the food is always delicious. Every once in a while the food can take a little bit to get out to you, but it is totally worth the wait. Great for families, we have six children and they love eating there!

Centerville Animal Hospital PC

My family uses Centerville Animal Hospital for our dog and they are wonderful. They are all very personable and genuinely love working with animals. Our dog is a large german shepherd mix but she can be quite the baby! They are always very patient with her and we are consistently pleased with the results. The also offer grooming services there, as well are regular veterinary services. It saves us time and money to be able to knock out both at one time. Definitely a great place to go!

P.S. They even have little gumball machines in the lobby with free treats for your animals!
