We live in the area, so any time people come to visit us from out of town, they want to go see the show. We've been there a half dozen times, and we always have fun. It's a little cheesy, but gets better after a giant Pina Colada from their bar. Definitely a "more the merrier" dinner experience. The food's tasty, if not spectacular. And everything's eaten with fingers... except the soup.
Conveniently located right on the boardwalk. Easy access to the beach with big wooden rocking chairs on the deck for watching the ocean and people going by. Very nice staff. But it's an older building, and the walls are thin. Try to avoid a room too close to the ice-making machine if you want to get any sleep. Great place to stay when we were younger, but not so great now that we have the kids with us. The bathrooms are TINY!
I think this property had just changed hands when we stayed there. They were under a lot of construction, and from what we could tell it was desperately needed. The staff were great, and the location is awesome. But the suites were pretty run down.
We've stayed in the cabins here twice now, and will be returning. The countryside trails and views are beautiful and relaxing. And there's so much to do! There's a complimentary mini-golf course, a remote-control race track, horseback riding, a big playground for the kids, a fitness gym, and the pools. While we were there, we joined them for a tie-dye class, and the kids painted ceramics. There was a pit-barbeque one night, too. The cabin was clean and tidy, if a little aged. But once we tucked the kids into bed and curled up by the fireplace, we didn't care.
Their rooms have in-suite laundry and kitchens. In my opinion, the ONLY way to travel with kids. The jacuzzi in the master bedroom was nice, too. The decor is relaxing, and we had a nice view of their little paddleboat lake. The front desk staff were very helpful and had great advice whenever we were at a loss. One of the DVD players in the suite wasn't working right, but maintenance replaced it within 20 minutes.
We dined here during our honeymoon stay in Orlando, and we come back every time we visit. My husband had the most succulent King crab claws here. Perfectly prepared. The staff were incredible. My water glass was never empty, but I swear I never caught anyone filling it.
I never imagined I would ever order something as simple as meatloaf from a restaurant, but I wasn't in an adventurous mood and ordered Wolfgang's. Best meatloaf ever! Now he's totally ruined meatloaf for me. Their sushi is pretty good, too. And they have smiley-face fried potatoes for the kids. Their staff are very well trained and friendly.
This is one of the key restaurants we have to visit any time we're in Orlando. The restaurant is in an old theatre. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's warm and inviting. And the food is fantastic. The last time we were there, they even had a guy coming around to tables with kids and making balloon animals for them. The kids loved it.
When we want a special place to dine, my husband and I always come here when we're visiting OC. The view is spectacular and the seafood is always fresh and excellent. Their staff have always been courteous and attentive. And it's great to walk the beach after dinner.
My dog is on a special diet and my vet doesn't always have it in stock. I like that I can order it from VetCentric and don't have to wait in line or haul the heavy bags to and from the car. And I can order her heartworm medicines online any time of day instead of waiting for the vet's office to open.
