I grew up going to this skating rink and it left much to be desired. I hope that they have updated it. There aren't many places like this in the area so I hope that they can get things up-to-date and make it a fun place for kids for many more years!
Bost Grist Mill is a fun and interesting place to visit. They do WW reinactments annually which can be good entertainment. It's fun to walk through their shop and pick up some things that you can't find most places.
Foxfire is your typical bowling alley! It is filled with smoke and isn't the cleanest place in the world, but it's close to home and we always have fun when we go!
We use to eat at Los Arcos weekly until we stumbled upon Casa Grande which we think is much better. However, their Chicken Nachos are delicious. The service is not the best but I think it's worth the trip.
We do not eat at McCabes any more after find less than desirable things in our food. We actually went to a birthday party after the "incident" and believe it or not, we had the same thing happen. We won't be going back.
I think that Bio-m-bos has good food but it's a good bit more expensive than a traditional mexican restaurant. I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice.
We love to go to Off The Grill in the Summer. The eating area is quite small so we get our order to go and take it across the street to the park for lunch! Their hamburgers are hand pattied and really good. Usually they have quick service!
Mayflower is great! I love the popcorn shrimp! They have daily specials that are very affordable! They are usually very quick to bring out the food and the wait staff is very friendly!
We enjoy going to El Vallarta for lunch! Their service is great! I love the bean/cheese dip that they bring you while you are looking over the menu! the prices are affordable and the food is really good!
Foster's has really good burgers. I usually get the kid size burger and find it funny that they actually cut a regular size burger in half (literally) and put it on a bun! The food is great!
