I have enjoyed lunch at Covington's many times as well as been to many events that have been catered by them. They always have excellent food. Their dining room is small, but is just the right size for a small party. They have been in business for many years because they are very good at what they do.
They are reasonably priced that what you get and I would certainly recommend them to others.
Puerta Vel Sol is the only Mexican restaurant in the little town of Nashville, Georgia. My family and I have visited several times and always enjoy it. It is a small, quiet restaurant with authenticate Mexican cuisine. They have a courteous staff and the food is reasonable priced.
I recommend this restaurant. My suggestion would be to go any day, except Sunday so that you can enjoy a margarita or sangria with your meal!
Gator Tales is a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. The alligators come up very close so that you can throw them a snack off the walk way.
The food is good, mostly fried fish. On holidays and Sundays they tend to have a buffet instead of menu. My food has always been pretty good with no complaints.
I would recommend this restaurant.
Tip: Be sure to go before sunset and ask for a window seat. The real reason to visit the restaurant is not the food, but the beautiful view.
Nature's Sunshine Health Food store was very convenient. While on a trip to Branson recently my mother run out of some of her herbs and supplements and wanted to get more. One of the local residents told me about the store.
It was very easy to find as it is on the main strip. We were able to go in quickly and find exactly what we needed. The staff was helpful and courteous.
I would recommend the store to others.
Tips: Since it is on the main road, be careful to time your trip so that you don't get stuck in tourist traffic.
Jessie's Eats and Treats is a small restaurant in downtown Valdosta. They offer a terrific light lunch, but the best part is the dessert! Jessie's offers many delicious desserts and treats to choose from.
I have never ordered anything that I didn't like. Everything is always so good. One of my favorites is the cheesecake!
If you are in downtown Valdosta, be sure to stop in for lunch or at least a snack.
Tip: Park in the back and use the rear entry door. It is so much easier to find a parking spot in back.
I have never been inside the Bar, but my husband and I have used the Drive In at King's Bar & Treehouse Lounge.
It was very convenient for us to be able to drive in, buy what we need and take it home without having to get out of the car since we have children and do NOT want to take them in. They have a good selection to choose from.
Our one complaint was that we couldn't use our debit card from the car to pay. My husband had to get out of the car and go in to use the ATM in order to pay.
I would recommend their drive-through service, but suggest that you have cash on hand to pay or be prepared to go inside to use the ATM.
My daughter attends Hillard School of Dance. She is in the toddler/preschool class which is a challenging age group. However, the teacher is very good at keeping the girls engaged and having a great time as they learn dance. She is very creative and good with the girls.
My daughter loves to go to dance and everyone there is very friendly and courteous. The price is reasonable and cheaper than anything in the Jacksonville area.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for dance classes in this area!
I choose Kinderlou Ravine Grille and Club for my wedding reception not long after it was built. I was not disappointed!
It is a beautiful location and their catering was more than I could have hoped for. Kinderlou provided the rooms, catering, servers, carving stations, a bar and bartender. The food was outstanding as was the atmosphere, service and staff. They were all very easy to work with. They gave me an outstandingly good deal that could not be beat anywhere else in town. The dining area is already tastefully decorated so it did not require excessive decorations. Money saved was put to good use elsewhere.
I would highly recommend them to anyone.
When my husband and I lived in the area we would have lunch at Pete's at least once a week, sometimes more. We LOVED the pizza!
They have always been very courteous, and we never had any complaints with the food. Our only complaint was not enough room so we often had to wait for a table.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for some excellent, inexpensive, quick pizza in that area. My recommendation would be to try to miss the lunch rush so that you can find a seat.
Steamboat Lilly's Restaurant is a small, down-home type restaurant with southern cooking. The few times I visited, the service was fair at best, but the food was good. In fact, my mother and grandmother still rave about it. Most of the meat choices were fried, but there were many great vegetables to choose from. My family and I definitely enjoyed the food. In fact, I have friends who go just for the vegetables.
During one visit my one year old refused to sit still, but the atmosphere was so relaxed that I felt comfortable letting her down. The other patrons, mostly elderly, were delighted and had a good time trying to play with her. The waitress even played with her for a bit.
The price was right. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys southern cooking and doesn't mind an extremely informal down home type restaurant.
My tip would be not to go when you are in a hurry.
