I have had my vehicle worked on at Racalto's numerous times. Jimmy is always very polite and the work is done reasonably priced and quickly.
Stop in and give Racalto's a try. You'll be surprised how quickly you're in and out and fixed.
J & T's is great for the regular oil changes as well as the major repairs. Joe is very knowledgeable about cars, and is one of the best mechanics in the area. Their prices are pretty reasonable, comparable to other shops in the area.. and the best part is they can usually get you in and out a whole lot sooner than the rest.
Need an oil change or just a fluid top off? Pull around! The fluid top offs are complimentary, and the guys can change your oil in a jiffy!
Cranes Towing is highly overpriced and as far as I'm concerned... overrated as well. They seem to all have a chip on their shoulders, and to them the customer is NOT always right.
My vehicle had been in a collision, and I needed it towed and an estimate to fix it. Highway Robbery is what their names should be!! It would have cost more to fix the car than for me to go buy another one! Sheesh!!! Lets think about it! Call another company!
Pleasant Valley Floral is a great little florist shop with personal service. The staff is wonderful, and if you're not quite sure what to get.. they are very knowledgeable and can guide you in the right direction.
They're delivery fees are reasonable, as well as their pricing for arrangements! Definitely check them out to send your next bouquet!
Dr. James Meek was my OB for my second child. As a doctor, he was wonderful. He always returned phone calls within just a couple of hours and answered the miriad of questions that I always had. He even came in to see me and my son after the baby was born.
My only concern was that there were so many doctors in the practice. The farther along I got, the less I saw of Dr. Meek. I started to see the different doctors in the practice. I was told that I needed to see the others because it was possible that one of them may end up delivering my child.
As it turned out, in the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy, I had seen 4 other doctors, and when I delivered.. it was a doctor whom I had not met yet who delivered my son.
I first met Doctor Jonathan Hegler when my son was down with a severe ear infection. We had taken him to another office over the weekend because our office was closed. Boy, was THAT ever a mistake!
Dr. Hegler informed me that the shot of antibiotic that they gave my son over the weekend should have been enough to clear up the ear infection, WITHOUT the additional round of oral antibiotics that they prescribed him. What he ended up with was a HORRIBLE yeast infection caused by the additional antibiotic.
Dr. Hegler did what was necessary to cure the yeast infection, as well as went above and beyond. We ended up not being able to get the original prescription filled that afternoon because the pharmacy didn't have any right then. When we called to see about having something else prescribed he was out of the office. The voice mail gave us his pager number, and we called that. Within a matter of MINUTES.. he responded and called in a new prescription!
Even after hours, you can count on Dr. Hegler to care enough to return your call and assist you!!
I began seeing Dr. James Timmons as my family physician over a year ago when we first moved here to the area. He seemed to be a great doctor from the start.
He is very thorough when you visit, and he always tries to make you feel at ease throughout the exams.
The event that made him most memorable and a doctor that I highly recomment is when my son fell and hit his face on the floor. I thought my son had broken his nose. We called his office immediately, and although it was late in the day and his office was about to close, he told us to come right in away. He stayed late to make sure that my son was OK. Thank you Dr. Timmons, and your wonderful staff, too!!
The staff is always friendly and personable. They will go out of their way to make you feel welcome and cared for.
We recently opened a bank account with Founders in Lancaster, and from the moment we stepped inside we were made to feel that Founders wanted our business. The staff went above and beyond, playing with our children even while we waited for an account services representative.
During the "interview" process, while the account was being opened, the representative explained the various benefits clearly and in great detail to help us understand and decide what would be the best options for our family.
The fees that they charge are very competitive compared to the fees other banks and credit unions charge. They don't overcharge you if a mistake is made, charging only 29.00 if a NSF should befall your account. They don't charge you for the first ATM card, and it's available (and given to you) immediately upon opening the account. There is no waiting 7-14 days for a card to come in the mail to be able to access your account.
I never have to worry that my husbands direct deposit is going to be late. It's available like clockwork every Wednesday night at midnight.
I definitely recommend Founders Credit Union to all in Lancaster county.
We have eaten at Lugoff House of Pizza and Subs numerous times over the course of the last two months, and may I add that this is a Jewel of a restaurant to dine at. They have THE best pizza that I have had in SOO long!
Our first encounter with this restaurant included a carryout order for 2 large pizzas. The price is definitely affordable, and the icing on the cake? They give you a small cheese pizza for free with your order!
There is always a smiling face ready to take your order and make you feel welcome and comfortable. The dining areas are separated so that smokers as well as non smokers can be comfortable while dining. This is definitely a family oriented establishment. They truly cater to the family experience.
They are a must try in Lugoff!! Put them on your TO DO list!
While staying at the Holiday Inn Express was a very nice experience as far as rooms and amenities go, I must say that the Customer Service experience was not what I would consider up to Holiday Inn standards.
The rooms were nicely laid out, very neat and clean. There was 2 pillows on each bed, a coffee pot and mini fridge and the obvious TV.
There were more than just 2 of us, and when we requested a rollaway bed, they provided one without question. However, it is here where the problem begins. They did not bring any bedding to go with the bed. No sheets, pillows, pillow cases... absolutely nothing. We were told we would have to come to the service desk to get those ourselves.
