Gathering Place Restaurant
My family stays in Howe every summer. We always love going to the Town Square Restaurant. The food is good and they have the most amazing giant cinnamon rolls.
Patriot Inn
My family road trips every year and always stayed at the Patriot Motel on our way home until one year when they gave away our room even after we had confirmed. It was late at night and we had to find somewhere else to stay. The Patriot Motel was not accommodating or helpful what-so-ever.
Joe's Sporting Goods
I live in PA but whenever I visit family in MN, I always go to Joe's. They have a great selection and a knowledgeable staff. Always a good experience.
Jerseys Sports Bar & Grill
I attended an event at the ballroom. It is probably the only event center in the area. The room had a great atmosphere and the event was a huge success.
Nick's Family Restaurant
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant/diner. The food was great and there is a nice view of main street Spooner. Definitely a good choice for any meal.
Alley Cats Coffee
Alley Cats has changed owners in the last year or so. From what I can tell, their selection and service has definitely taken a hit in the change. The food that I had was good though.
Glenn & Ken's Auto Repair
This is a great little car repair shop where the owners answer the phone themselves. They give you an honest estimate. Their work is always done on time.
Glenside Hardware
This is a hardware store where you can still find some of the old tried and true tools and parts. A nice, little store that is easy to get to. They have everything from a key maker to lawnmowers.
Willow Grove Day Camp
This site was used for 15 years for an annual staff and client celebration. The camp barbecued fabulous food while everyone enjoyed the pools, mini-golf, fishing, sports and general fun.
