This coffee house is great for tea drinkers too, it has an amazing and yummy selection and it is a really nice atmosphere inside. It is on a quieter street, with less traffic and a more enjoyable cup of coffee to take in without all the hubbub.
This coffee spot is open late and has a classic old hippie bordering on trendy feel now, but it is the same good old outside seating with heat lamps during the rainy sleety months and inside booths with high backs for privacy, also the secret rooms with silly bootlegging stories to boot.
This is Anna Banana's of the East Side! It has the Jazz and secret alcove spots with games to play if you would like or privacy to be had if you need it. I love their local coffee and personality. I think it helps Portland stay the same to have places like this around.
I love the little quaint feeling I get from the funny deli items this delicatessen has to offer from around the world. I recommend going in on a lunch break to get something new and freshen up life a bit with a little something.
You can bring in your own and have them butcher it up for you, like our neighbor did a buffalo, or have them answer any question you may have and they will know as they are the best in the business. Local and legit!
I know of no other business that offers this product, a fun, educational science lesson that gets kids excited to learn. The fact that is offered as an after school activity is great for parents and I think it is a great thing to give a try. I know it can get a little crazy loud maybe sometimes, but that is the "mad" science way a little, especially if the age span is k through 5 or 6.
This bar is just a local crappy pool stick lopsided pool table ramshackle mess that does serve alcohol. It is open when it snows, usually and I wish they would get a better sign, it is sloppy but a big place, rent it out for a big group maybe and decorate yourself, they might work with you.
This is a great bar that only serves beer and wine, but it has numerous pool tables, very nice service and great atmosphere. I like dive bar atmosphere, so that is specifically the kind of great I am speaking of. It is a good time, go see for yourself.
I like this bar, it is good people and good times. I love the huge selection of Irish whisky and other spirits. I also love the dark, musty atmosphere. It feels like old Portland, I am not as wild about the food, but you go there to drink anyway, right.
It is good steak, but it is world class Greek goddess strippers doing crazy things as well. Go check it out, and see some acrobatic Greek goodness! Then swing through their salad bar and grab a steak too while you watch.
