I've been going to this place for over 25 years and it's still the same as when I was a kid. Great service, the staff just make you feel like a regular whether it's your first time or your 50th time. The Bruswick stew is awesome, and is the BBQ. You can request no sauce if you prefer it that way. The atmosphere is old timey, with wooden booths and 20+ year old chairs and covered wagons on the lights at each booth.
This place has great sandwiches and soups, lots a variety and great service. They also have a great dessert selection of pies and cheesecakes! Great place for kids, getting a bite to eat and escape from work.
They have great specials all the time, resonably priced, and they remember their regulars orders. I loved their turkey roast beef special. It's a great little family deli.
We have gone here several times and the food is always excellent. The owner even comes around and plays the accordian! They have a nice outdoor section for when the whether is nice, large food portions (plan on taking some home), and great service!
I LOVE their chopped BBQ, hush pupies and fries. You can get it with or without sauce, or even Eastern if you like it that way. Service is great, restaurants are clean and you can call ahead and get take out or order it at the door and it doesn't take long.
My Great Aunt's live in Clarksburg and ONLY use this bakery. They will ship bread to my Grandfather because you just can't get this quality of Italian bread where we live. Last year we drove up and spent over $100 on bread! They have soft and hard loafs of Italian bread as well as extra hard for those who love the crusts. They also carry WV's pepperoni rolls. Three sticks of pepperoni baked into a individual roll. They are great with sauted peppers, onions and cheese or even plain.
For good, quick japanese this is a good restaurant to go to, whether eating in or dining out. The fried rice, chicken, beef and especially the sweet carrots. The restaurant is always clean and quiet.
I love Dr Phillips! We had a Chow/Shephard mix that had a bad experience with vets as a pup, and as a result anyone who saw him wanted to muzzle him. Muzzling only made him more aggitated and impossible to examine. Dr Phillips LISTENED to us, our concerns and TRUSTED our ability to control him without a muzzle to be examined. He did fine and soon became comfortable with her and NEVER needed to be muzzled for a visit. Our dog ended up needing double knee surgery for torn ligaments, and Dr Phillips did a wonderful job, he never had a problem healing or walking afterwards, if anything he was more spunky! She truly loves her job and cares for not only the pets she treats but the owners as well.
