Although Aztecas changes their decor regularly and re-engineers their ordering system, the food is the same always. Great! I love their flautas (but they aren't the best if you get them to go unless you heat them in toaster over when you get home) and my husband loves their taco platters. Even my "I don't like Mexican food" daughter thinks their quesadillas are great.
Whether you need a wig for The Nutcracker Ballet or 42nd Street, you'd find it at Serge's. The staff there is very knowledgeable and will ensure you get the right wig, the right fit and the right color. Not to mention all the wig supplies you'll need for maintenance.
If you are looking for true luxury when it comes to linens and more, this store is really worth the trip. From truly blissful linens to decorative pieces for the home, the people at Bliss seem to find the most amazing items. And I hear their interior design services are phenomenal as well. Everything is very pricey but quality is worth the price.
My firm has been using Laurie Vogt for at least the 12 years that I've been here. She is an excellent photographer. She's so helpful in preparing a shoot estimate, finding the right props, even helping with find the best food stylists for the job. She's so easy to work with and her shots are beautiful.
The folks at Video Movie Magic do it all when it comes to mastering, replicating and duplicating video files. They are truly helpful with the uninitiated and their speed of service can't be beat.
My teenagers love No Rest For Bridget. They carry trendy clothes but not the mass produced stuff you see in so many stores. Some of the items are overpriced but they often find very reasonably priced clothes and accessories as well. I bought a sweater in November for Christmas. My daughter removed the tags and wore it after the holidays and by the end of the day it was falling apart. I was worried even though we had the receipt but NRFB took it back without any problems.
Precision Litho is at the top when it comes to commercial printers. They are on the leading edge of technology and have all the equipment - and trained staff - to do any print job large or small. They are extremely fast and their prices usually can't be beat.
I've been working with the Dot Printer for the 12 years I've been at my firm and really appreciate their service and quality product. Kathy Payne and her team really knows their stuff and can help problem solve to ensure the best outcome of any printing job. And she'll even honestly tell you when you'd be better off at a different printer.
We selected Dr. Ozaki as our pediatrician in 1990 based on family recommendation. We're still with him - even after moves from Long Beach to Huntington Beach to Fountain Valley (we were thrilled he came back to So Cal after a stint back east!). He takes all the time necessary to explain things to parents but never excludes the child patient from the conversation. It's sometimes tough to get an appointment and the wait once at the office can be annoying but I don't believe there can be better care available.
My firm started out using Primary for color separations in the mid 1990s. The technological world has changed and Primary has kept in step. Film is a thing of the past but they are still expert retouchers and also do amazing things in large format printing and with lasers in die-cutting. They are a great resource when you have a project you aren't sure how to tackle.
