Fairfield Inn-Fargo
For being part of the Marriott hotels I would have expected better. The beds were great and they had flat screen TVs but everything else just wasn't up to par with other Marriott hotels.
Best Western Fargo Doublewood Inn
I have always been satisfied with Best Western. What's nice is they accept triple A for a discount, which not all hotels do. It's worth saving the money if you're only staying for a day or two. I wouldn't recommend it if for some reason you had to stay for a month or so.
Santa Lucia Take & Bake
Besides Saffron, this is one of the best ethnic restaurants in Fargo. I love Greek food and was impressed with the quality of food they served. Try out the grape leaves for an appetizer...delicious!
Saffron
It's a great atmosphere with Indian music to listen to while you wait for your meal. The staff is very friendly. My favorite dish is lamb with spinach. It is very filling so I haven't been able to try any of their desserts.
Mumtaz Indian Restaurant and Bar
This was the first time I tried Indian food and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't as spicy as I thought. Indian is now my new favorite indulgence.
Kaiserhoff
This restaurant is satisfactory. For being classified as a German restaurant, there really is more American food than German. Not only that the food is over-priced. I can get a great meal at Bavarian Haus in Hutchinson that is actually worth paying extra money for.
King's Wok Chinese Restaurant
I would have to agree with Denise. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. The buffet is ginormous. I like that they have a salad bar as well. If I remember correctly they also had a sushi bar. I don't recommend that, it's not fresh. Other than the sushi bar, everything is satisfactory.
Mc Cormick's Family Restaurant
This is a good restaurant for dinning out with family. It's almost like Perkins but better. I ordered a Belgium waffle and it was delicious. My dad had potato pancakes and for those of you who enjoy this dish, it is highly recommended. And for those of you who have never had potato pancakes it truly is worth a try. The service here is pretty quick as well.
Call Your Spalon
My mom and I went to the Callyour Spalon for a pedicure. It was a great experience. Neither one of us had ever had a pedicure. What was cool about the experience is that we were able to do it together. We had our own little room, leather recliners, choice of beverage and soothing classical music. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a great way to relax.
Little Keepers
I am a stay-at-home mom and it's nice to know that there is a professional place where I can drop of my child for a few hours. It is very affordable. I use this drop off child care when I have doctor appointments and if I have A LOT of errands to run in town. My husband and I use this for our date nights as well. :) It's worth checking out.
