I found this placce at the local Farmers Market. They had a nice supply of olives, hummus, and other dips. They also had the most delicious falafels I've ever had!!! I also purchased a Lebanese item similar to the falafel. I don't remember the name but it was wheat stuffed with potatoes and pine nuts. It was sooooo good. I will definitely go to their full restaurant.
We spend a fair amount of time in San Juan Capistrano for soccer. This restaurant was referred to us by another soccer family. This is a fabulous Mexican restaurant. I love chimichangas and theirs are fantastic. We have been to this place several times and have been pleased each time. The setting is very casual and there isn't much ambiance. However, the food definitely makes it a worthwhile trip.
This market is a smaller version of Whole Foods. They offer a nice selection of healthy foods, including organic produce and other products. They have a nice meat case, fresh prepared foods and fresh baked breads. My daughter loves their french bread that is fresh daily. They have just what you'd expect to find in a market, but include many whole and healthy choices.
This company has done several different types of electrical work for me. Larry is professional and tells you exactly what needs to be done. He really knows his stuff. This is my go-to company for all things electrical.
This salon has been a mainstay in Torrance for many years. They do thermal work, braids and weaves. I was in a pinch my first visit. Chris was very accommodating and gave me an evening appointment. The salon is cute and clean. The staff is very professional.
This store provides the uniforms for my daughter's club soccer team. They provide a wide selection of soccer gear and uniforms. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and knowlegeable. This is our go-to place for soccer stuff.
I discovered this nail salon while walking along Avenida Del Mar. It was a spur of the moment decision. The prices were very reasonable (a spa pedicure for $18). I especially liked that they handed you a menu that listed all of their prices. This was especially refreshing since so many other shops just try to upsale you. I received a pedicure that satisfied me. I will certainly return.
I went to The Shore Restaurant with friends, to catch up. We selected it on the basis of it's modern decor and contemporary menu offerings. My friends shared a prawn salad and the shrimp and grits. They enjoyed both, but raved about the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were HUGE. I ordered a veggie burger which was served with sweet potato fries and a chipotle type sauce. It seemed to include beans in its composition and was quite good. Entrees ranged in price from $10 to $25 dollars. The food was very good and we will definitely return.
This restaurant has something for everyone...and multiple choices too. They offer a wide variety of many dishes that made it a great choice for our picky party of four. I ordered the trout almondine which came with potatoes, vegetable and a salad. It was a fairly large portion for a reasonable price.
We discovered this place while walking through Isla Vista on a recent trip, and decided to try it. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh, healthy and prepared to order. The decor leaves a lot to be desired....basic tables and chairs. However, if ambiance is less important than food, this is a good choice.
