A group from our office occasionally go bowling here. We've always found the staff to be courteous and friendly. The center is fairly clean, little dark though. Not too much problems with the lanes. Overall, we have a good time.
All Star Lanes
If you're a serious bowler looking for a modern place to bowl, this isn't the place. However, if you're looking for some good old recreational fun, you may find it here. Along with the lanes, there's a huge stage for karaoke and an awesome karaoke system. And of course, there's the bar.
All Pets Veterinary Hospital
We've taken our dog to All Pets a few times and each time, they have provided excellent service. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to explain what they're doing and what would be best for the dog. This is a first class facility.
China Tea House Chinese Rstrnt
We've gone here a few times and each time we have found the food and service to be pretty darn good. Lots of menu choices to choose from. The service has always been friendly and personable. Prices are very reasonable.
Smog Depot Incorporated
This is a test-only center, located on Lomita on the corner along with the car wash. The technician seemed to know what he was doing - although, since I was the only one there, you would think that he would have been a little more sociable. He performed the test, gave the results, and took my money... which was higher than others in the area.
Eco Smog
This place was a little difficult to find - a little south of Carson street. It's a test-only center. Not only do they provide fast and friendly service, they are extremely knowledgeable in what they do. You can??t go wrong!
Sunny Dog Place
If your dog gets along with other dogs, I recommend this place in lieu of a traditional kennel if you need to leave you pup. I like the idea of the dogs being able to roam freely within the fenced area. The crew there keeps a close watch to break up any confrontations and separate the "trouble-maker". Nonetheless, my pup totally enjoys it here. He comes home totally exhausted from running around all day.
Remo's Liquor
Ran in here one day to buy a paper, a soft drink, and a lotto ticket. The guy behind the counter was sociable (surprisingly). Was able to find everything I wanted pretty quickly... although the lotto ticket was a dud.
Giant Grinder Deli
Great place! I think their half sandwich sizes are almost Subways' footlong sizes... Variety of sandwiches to choose from, usually go with the combo (cold cut trio) and/or the roast beef sandwiches. Go for there combo deals, which includes salad and drink. Seems to cater more toward the working crews for lunch - try to get there a few minutes before and you'll be set!
Coach Lite Lanes
Not a big bowling center but sure had a lot of fun here. Most weeknight evenings, the leagues take up all the lanes. People here are fantastic. Establishment is well maintained and clean.
