I saw UFC 117 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland and was completely surprised at their $30.00 parking fee...and this is for a CAR, not a BUS. That makes the ARCO Arena parking fee of $12.00 seem like a super deal!
Didn't visit the bathrooms and didn't eat their food, so no comment there...but the floors in their hallways are so filthy-sticky, it was a little disgusting to have your shoes stick when you walk.
Anyway, looking past all that, the seating inside the arena is set up nice in the way that you have a good view pretty much wherever you are (except probably the floor seats, if you're on the shorter side).
Overall, I'd give them 2.5 stars, but since I can't...I'm rounding it up to 3.
Three stars because my hubby loved his $25.95 Buffalo New York Steak and fingerling potatoes...but I was disappointed in my Kobe Mushroom Swiss burger. It was definitely nothing like the Kobe burgers I've had in the past elsewhere, which were really delicious!
It was not served hot and it was surprisingly thin...even thinner than a Carl's Jr. $6 burger, believe it or not! I'm sure it wasn't cooked medium as I requested due to the fact that it was so thin. The garlic mushrooms were delicious, though...but overall, this burger was only worth half of its $15.95 price tag.
We purchased carpet at Lowe's in Roseville and Davis & Son Floor Covering is their installer. They were quick to call us for a measure appointment and the gentleman was very professional when he came out to measure. We had our carpet installed just 3 business days later and they did an excellent job!
I don't eat chicken wings. I love oysters, but this Hooters doesn't serve them, for whatever reason. The first time I came here was to watch a UFC fight and the manager was very helpful, the servers were wonderful and their mushroom swiss burger was surprisingly INCREDIBLE!
I've been back once and will continue to come here to watch UFC fights there unless I see them live or at home. One more thing...they don't have a cover charge here for fight night like a lot of other places do! :)
Service was usually good here...except for the last time we ate there...no server came around for 45 minutes because we were in their "overflow" room where apparently, there were no servers scheduled. Their burgers are definitely the greasiest burgers in Placer County. Cobb Salad is delicious and so are their fries.
Up until a few months ago, you could actually make a reservation for UFC fight night. Then, they started saying they didn't take reservations...but when we got there, there were tables with reserved signs! Next time we went there, we found out that they no longer show UFC fights...so off to Hooters Sacramento we went!
Just tried this car wash for the first time this week and I'm definitely a repeat customer! Not only did they do a terrific job (a black SUV at that) but their customer service is top notch, too. I was "satisfied" with the other car washes I've been to in Roseville, but I am "impressed" with Fairway Car Wash!
Let's start with the good: the service was fantastic (as expected!) and their filet mignon is absolutely heavenly!!! Their red pepper and crab bisque is delightful, but the 5-star menu items stop here.
The mixed berries salad (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries) was good, but not spectacular, just like their grilled artichoke, which was actually two small artichokes cut in half, drizzled with olive oil.
The bad is that they actually "forgot" to bring out the scalloped potatoes (we told them to forget it after we mentioned it to them) and I sent back my original order of an end cut of prime rib because it was tough and tasteless.
I'd definitely come back for their filet mignon, crab bisque and excellent service if I'm in downtown Pleasanton craving a superb steak dinner!
I placed a very large order (over $10k) about a year and a half ago from Lighting by Gregory and had no problems with the order at all. I shopped for the best prices and found them to be the lowest for Minka and Designers Fountain lights.
I also recently placed a telephone order for a couple of replacement parts about a week ago and they arrived promptly, drop-shipped from the different manufacturers. As a side note, I had called 4 different local lighting stores to get these parts and none of them followed through...when I called Lighting by Gregory, they placed my order during my one and only phone call to them!
FYI, this Mel's is not open 24 hours like other locations...but on Fridays and Saturdays, they stay open until 3:00 a.m. They have good service, delicious Reuben sandwiches and a really good Mel's San Francisco Scramble!
Friendly service at this La Bou, but the food isn't really that good. We ordered a chicken and avocado panini (very bland and served lukewarm), a cup of tomato basil soup (this was good) and a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat Texas toast. The thick slices of bread were overwhelming, the cheese was rubbery and not even melted and the sandwich was very dry and needed to be dunked into the soup to be edible.
