I recently had a block wall put up around my back yard. Before getting the work done I got 5 estimates and decided to go with Saguaro Fence and I definitely made the right decision. Richard Calderon the owner of Saguaro Fence was great to work with, they started on time and finished on time. The fence looks great, the yard looks great and the cost was reasonable. As I said I spoke to 5 different contractors and all of them but Richard told me what they wouldn't do, whereas Richard worked with me to get everything done that I needed. I wish I needed another fence so I could hire him again!!
We bought our first camper, a pop-up trailer, from Payless Auto & Camper over a year ago. I had looked at a number of other places before going to Payless and was surprised at how expensive the used pop-ups were. I remembered seeing Payless once so I drove over there to see what they had. Well the used trailers they had were CONSIDERABLY nicer than the other ones I had seen and it was MUCH less expensive. We decided to go ahead and make the purchase and they were great the entire time. Then after spending 2 weeks in the pop-up in December I said no more long trips, it was just too much time to spend in that space and it was cold. So my husband suggested we look at travel trailers, so once again we went back to Payless, both my husband and I are over 6 ft tall so we needed something that had a high enough ceiling and that wasn't going to be too heavy for our current vehicle. At Payless we found a trailer on their lot that was perfect for us. I went home and did an internet search to see what the price would be, well the price they quoted us was anywhere from 2 to 3K less than what others were asking. We went back and talked with them some more and they took another grand off the price and then gave us $2600,00 for our pop-up trailer as a trade-in and we'd only paid $3500 for it and had used it for over a year. We are very satisfied with the new trailer and will go back there again when we're ready for a 5th Wheel.
I've been going to Jessica for a number of years now. I used to drive quite a distance to see her and was glad when she relocated to Wild Roots which is just a few miles from where I live. Jessica listens to what you want to do and is eager to please. My hair is actually pretty easy but my sister has very thick gray hair and has always had problems finding someone to do her hair they way she wanted. I suggested she try Jessica and my sister was thrilled. I got married last summer and Jessica worked with me to find the hairstyle that was perfect for the wedding. Then she suggested that she come to my home on the day of the wedding so it would be easier for me. She is just a warm and wonderful young woman who knows how to listen and cares about her work and her clients.
This is an expensive restaurant and so I must admit my expectations go up as I am spending more money. We have been to this restaurant twice, the first time was very good but the second time left much to be desired and I'm not sure that we would decide to return when there are so many good restaurants out there. The food for the most part was very good, my mother however found a hair in her salad and the manager never came by to apologize or even mention the incident. What I was most disappointed with was the service. The waiter came by and asked if we wanted wine, we replied no but then he asked again, once again we said we didn't want any wine and yet he kept bringing up wine over and over, all in all he asked us about having wine 5 times! Then when my husband ordered an iced tea, the waiter replied, a long island iced tea, to which my husband replied, just an iced tea, and again the waiter states, are you sure you wouldn't like a long island, at that point I lost it and although I refrained from yelling my tone of voice was very definite, and I stated this is ridiculous he ordered an iced tea and that is what he wants! We enjoy going to restaurants of all sorts, we like to explore and we'll go high end or to dives, we're looking for good food and service and if we get that we're happy whether we're spending $10, or $200 but when the service is bad or inappropriate we'll find someplace else to go in the future. As for Skye it would be a while before we would go back there again even though we like the food. You might go there and have an excellent experience, we did the first time but this just left me not eager to return.
We go to the Good Egg frequently, it's a great place to head out for breakfast. Most of our visits there have been on the weekends but every now and then when we have the time before work we'll head over during the week. The service is fast and friendly and the food is always tasty. If you've never been there before be careful of the pancakes, they are huge. You can get 1, 2 or 3 pancakes in an order and my husband who is a big guy can only manage 1 pancake. They have both buttermilk and whole wheat pancakes and you can add any number of ingredients in them, so you can always get it just the way you like it. I'm a major iced tea drinker and was surprised the first time we went that they had fresh iced tea at 6:30 in the morning, and they'll give you one to go at no additional charge, now that's taking care of the customer. Oh and don't forget to get your stamp card, after 5 stamps you get a free breakfast, each member in your party has to have a separate card but if you like going out to breakfast, the card is a great deal.
If you're looking for good southern bbq then you have to head over to Restaurant 28 on Olive in Glendale. The pork ribs, hot links and catfish are among our favorites. My husband who has always hated catfish took a bite of mine and was an instant convert, he's since tried it at other restaurants but found that the only place he likes it is Restaurant 28. This is a family run restaurant and it is clear that they care about their customers and the quality of food that they put out. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. Oh, and on Saturday nights they have live jazz piano. So if on some Saturday you're looking for something casual, delicious and entertaining head over the Restaurant 28 and you won't be disappointed.
We recently bought a travel trailer and needed a place to store it when not in use. We found this place and it's close to home and easy to get in and out of with two separate entrances. One of the great things about the RV storage is that we were able to get a pull-thru spot which makes parking an RV much easier. We feel secure with our trailer being there and also decided to get a small storage area for our Christmas decorations and other items not needed on a regular basis. They also have extended hours for those who have RV storage which makes it nicer when planning trips.
The food at this restaurant is wonderful. I would strongly recommend the Delmonico steak it is tender and juicy and flavorful. Their calamari appetizer is also divine. This place is on the expensive side but there are often coupons in the direct mails that you get and these can make it more affordable. They are also open for lunch and we've greatly enjoyed their salads at lunch, refreshing and affordable. The only drawback to this place is the service, we've had excellent service at times and horrible service at other times, I expect very good to excellent service when I am spending the money that we're spending here, this isn't a Denny's after all. If they fix their service issue they will be unbeatable in the West Valley
We've been going to Wok Stix now for a few months. We've tried a number of items and have never been disappointed. One of our concerns was that the only option was white rice and we generally try to stay away from bleached processed food and now they offer Brown Rice, there is an extra charge, we'd be happier if there wasn't an extra charge but we're willing to pay that for the health factor of the brown rice. They have a very large menu so there should be something that would satisfy everyone.
