Dupar's Restaurants & Bakeries
You want good pie go to DuPar's. The other food is typical diner food and in my opinion a little overpriced. The pie though has been outstanding every time.
Sisley Italian Kitchen Rstrnt
the food was delicious but it wasn't anything special. It was like a half assed expensive Italian restaurant and not really Italian enough for me. At the same time I was raised Italian so forget about it.
The Flower Girl
this was a great flower shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prices were also very reasonable. I'll definitely return there and would recommend it to friends.
Izzazu Salon
I can't say enough good things about Izzazu Salon. They have a talented and friendly staff. The owners Emilio and Gino work hard to keep their staff up to date on the latest and greatest trends while still preserving that classic kind of style. You want a great salon in Pittsburgh, go to Izzazu Salon!
Floyd's 99 Barbershop
i went there to cut off my long hair and was not impressed with the cut at all. The added perks were nice though, which included the shoulder rub and straight razor shave to the back of the neck but after the cut I switch to the Floyd's on Melrose.
Hamburger Hamlet Restaurant
Pretty good food. Obviously a tasty burger. Nothing really special about the place though. Just another kinda fancy burger joint. I'm sure if you gave a damn you could find something better.
La Tavola Italiana Restaurant
Hands down some of the best Italian food in all of Pittsburgh. My family's been ordering from there since I was a kid. If you get a chance order yourself a gondola hoagie. Forget about it, it's so damn good.
Cesar J. Segovia, DDS
Dr Segovia is the greatest Dentist I have ever encountered. The Dr. himself really takes an interest in his patients. His staff is always more than helpful and I have never received anything but top notch service in every encounter I have had with them.
Earth-2 Comics
great comic shop. Really friendly staff. I always find what i want inside. Not the hugest selection but a damn good sized collection still and I often find comics there that I don't see anywhere else.
Vine Street
I like this joint. It's was a loud grungy dive bar with a bad attitude. It was my kind of environment when I would drink. Don't know if they still do it but suicide Fridays were definitely a great time.
