My employer uses this bank and I have been there many times on business. The tellers are always friendly and go the extra mile to help us out. I just wish they had another location, they are across town from us and it is a little inconvenient.
I love a great TV, but I don't have the first clue about what to look for when I am buying one. It's not a problem at Urners, they have a great friendly staff who are knowledgeable and helpful. They are also pretty honest about the products they sell. I often ask a sales person what they would buy themselves if they were me and that usually helps steer me in the right direction. Also, Urners is generous to local charities and that means a lot to me.
I have an older home and with that comes the usual bumps and bruises, including plumbing issues. Pike Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend and I am glad they did. They have prompt service for those "uh oh" moments and they are always friendly and helpful. The pricing is fair and I don't ever feel like they are trying to take advantage of their customers.
The bread was hard as a rock and there are pictures of New York all over the place - what's so Philly about that?!
Maybe their subs are ok like other reviews say, but once was enough for me to not go back.
You really want a taste of Philly on the west coast? Go to Philly Franks in San Marcos, they've got the best cheese steaks around plus the Herr's chips and Tastykakes to complete the meal!
The museum is set in the quaint little town of Jonesboro, GA and is actually located inside the old train station that once operated there. It is a small space but they managed to fill it with tons of photos, clippings and costumes from the film. I loved seeing Scarlett's green and white dress that she wore to the infamous BBQ at Twelve Oaks! The first time I went there was a walking tour that told of the towns history that inspired Margaret Mitchell's story, but when I returned years later it was no longer there. There is also a shop for GWTW collectors, but it also has a lot of tourist-y items like southern style cookbooks and collectibles from the south. This place is perfect for GWTW fans and there is even war history included to keep the men (in this case, my dad) happy.
It's hard to find pizza that is NOT good in Philly, but Sal's is far and away the best around! They have a great menu, some might say interesting combinations of toppings that make you scratch your head, but I just think it is yummy! Fair pricing and great service make this one of my favorites stops in town.
This is the best authentic Mexican restaurant around. Clean and friendly environment, good service, and always packed on the weekend so get there early!
Anyone in Bakersfield knows how hard the town has been hit by the economy, the struggling businesses of the East Hills Mall know this better than anyone. That being said, I attended a Boy Scout event held there this weekend and had lunch at Mr. Grumpy's. They have a great menu, and the pizza sandwich I had was delicious. It seems to be family owned and operated with friendly service and fair prices. If you're in the neighborhood you should check it out.
Good menu, friendly service. Hard to believe, but some of the best french fires around! Try the chicken Shwawarma, but get there early because they run out around the evening time!
Gets crowded at lunch so be sure you have the time to spare.
I HATE going to the dentist, seriously. I actually like going to Mt. Vernon, the people are very friendly and helpful and most of all, very gentle. I am a big wimp when it comes to dental work so it is very important that I have a dentist who cares enough to be delicate when necessary. The staff was very patient and understanding. Highly recommended.
