This location always has a busy lunch rush due to its proximity to the I-17 freeway. They have good customer service, and the food is very fresh if you come during the rush. This location is especially clean, and you have a view of the food preparation area. Located next to the Chipotle on Peoria and 27th Avenue.
Aerotek offers staffing solutions for the science/biotech/environmental health arena. They have advertisements on line for jobs that are available. Once you apply, it can take awhile for a employment consultant to get ahold of you.
Most tire or car maintenance places have NO space for the customers to wait - the lounge is usually more of a dirty closet with icky bathrooms and nothing to look at but the inside of the garage. This is not the case with the Purcells at 59th Ave and Thunderbird. The staff are genuinely nice and cooperative. They get the work done quickly, and their prices aren't too high. The waiting area is HUGE, with lots of chairs, a TV, a table full of magazines, and separate customer bathrooms. There is also a soda and snack machine. They sell tires and accessories, as well as providing normal auto maintenance.
This AAA auto repair is in a large building that also contains a Hertz rental chain. The marquee always offers very good deals on car maintenance (oil change, tire balancing). The offices are clean and there is plenty of waiting space for those having their car repaired.
This place has some of the most yummy fish tacos I have ever had. But if you don't understand some Spanish, you might be confused, since the majority of the menu is in Spanish.
Fiberquant is an AIHA-accredited lab that is used by contractors and consultants in the Industrial Hygiene field. They perform analysis of asbestos bulk samples (like drywall, acoustic texturing, and vinyl floor tiles), mold spore trap samples, lead-in-paint analysis, and many other analyses. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Abatix is where contractors go to get their supplies for mold remediation and asbestos abatement. They have good customer service and are very responsive, but I do not know if the local stores are open to the public. They have a great website for further information.
This location of Samurai Sam's is *temporarily* (I think) closed for what looks like renovation activities. The service here is satisfactory, and the food is what you expect it to be - fast. You can get healthy versions of the top sellers for just a bit more money, but that way you know it is fresh.
Bulwark pest control has some of the nicest technicians doing pest control. They are clean-cut, respectful to you, and well-informed about their jobs.
Their BEST item on the menu is the green corn tamale. It is sweet and tasty. They offer unlimited chips and salsa, with a large menu. It is a family-style restaurant with booths and tables. Decent food at good prices.
