I've used Indulgences a few different times for manicures and pedicures. My first experience there was a mani/pedi and it went pretty well. Nothing spectacular, nothing went wrong. My next experience was just a mani, and the manicure room is also the back door and evidently, the place for employees to clock in and check their schedules and such. I was annoyed by the people constantly coming and going. Not exactly relaxing when someone's barging in every 10 minutes. My last experience there was a hot stone pedicure, and the pedicurist kept complaining about how hot the stones were on her hands, which is just awkward, because there's nothing I can do about it, except feel guilty for scalding this poor woman. Again, not exactly relaxing. I don't think I'll be going back.
The best part about Revolution Cleaners is that your clothes don't smell like chemicals like they do when you use other dry cleaners. The quality of their work is good, and their prices are about the same as normal dry cleaners.
I checked out numerous shops for my wedding dress, and d'Anelli's was my favorite. They had a huge selection of dresses in my price range, and the staff wasn't pushy, like I had experienced elsewhere. I ended up finding the perfect dress somewhere else, but ended up bringing it to d'Anelli. to have it steamed. They also had a very wide selection of bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride dresses. I would recommend all Denver area brides check out d'Anelli.
We have been pleased with our experiences with this clinic. I believe their prices are reasonable compared to other vets, and I appreciate the amount of knowledge and experience the doctors have.
We have two dogs and have been bringing them to Urban Vet Care for a year and a half. We like going there because it's close to home, and we appreciate the new, clean facility they have. The staff is helpful and friendly, and they never complain when our older dog puts up a fight on almost every procedure.
One concern I have is that their prices seem to be quite a bit higher than the vet we used when we lived on the other side of Denver. Everything seems more expensive, from procedures to exams to medications, and I feel like I'm paying much more than I should.
We had a specific used car in mind, and finally found one we liked at Gephardt BMW. Although I think we got a fair price on our purchase, in hindsight, I definitely think we could have gotten a much better price on our trade-in if we would have sold it private-party instead. For example, they were trying to deduct from the price of our trade-in for tires, even though the tires had less than 5,000 miles on them. And we knew the approximate blue book value for our car, to which they responded that they don't really use blue book. Yeah, except when it's to your advantage, right?
Also, we bought a station wagon, and they gave us the manual for the sedan. We tried numerous times to get the correct manual, each time they said they would mail it to us, or they would call us and we could pick it up, and they never followed through. Horrible customer service in that regard. Every time they said they would take care of it, we knew they were lying to us.
Other than that, the sales process went smoothly.
We bought our BMW elsewhere, but we bring our car into Murray for service. We appreciate they always give us a loaner car, and they do a thorough job of looking into any concerns we have. There are some representatives that aren't as experienced as others, but the level of service we have received from this dealership is head-and-shoulders above other dealers we have used.
I have two dogs and although I don't kennel them very often, I know they are well taken care of when I leave them at Mile High Mutts. They have convenient hours, the staff has been great to work with, and the facility seems clean and safe. I appreciate that I can look in on my dogs on the webcam-- every time I look, they seem to be having a good time. I have used them for daycare on occasion (if work is being done on my house, for example) and have used them for overnight boarding as well. I like knowing if I board them overnight that they are active and playing throughout the day, instead of locked up in a cage.
I recently started going to Highland Smiles. It's a newly renovated office near the 32nd and Lowell shopping district. I appreciate all the new state-of-the-art equipment they used-- I felt like I was getting the best technology out there. I have been pleased with Kara as well. She has a good bedside manner and thoroughly discusses any concerns I have.
I used Carte d'Or for my wedding in 2007. With catering being the most expensive vendor for my wedding, I carefully interviewed several caterers, and Carte d'Or came up head and shoulders above the rest. They were the only caterer that actually tried to stick to my budget, instead of tempting me with menus I couldn't afford. When I analyzed a lot of the estimates from other caterers, there were hidden fees or surcharges, but Carte d'Or was straightforward and honest about their prices. They were a pleasure to work with and helped me get the most out of my budget. They also took care of all of the rental items (linens, plates, flatware, chairs, etc.) and that was certainly a relief to know someone else had that under control. I can't say I ate much at my wedding, what with nerves, and a very tight dress, but I got compliments from many of my guests and the wait staff was extremely professional. I would definitely use them again-- except I'm not planning to get married again any time soon. :)
