I am amazed to see people saying that this vet is rude and not informative. I have taken several of my dogs to this clinic over the years, and never had a problem.
It started with my chihuahua who had swallowed a foxtail, and had it stuck in his throat. I first took him to a vet in Temecula, who would not even look at him unless I did a series of expensive tests, and put him on heart medication for a supposed serious heart murmur (for which he had no symptoms).
My son recommended I take him to Canyon Lake, where he had taken his dog many times for foxtails. Dr. Robertson examined my dog, told me that the murmur was not serious, anesthetized my dog, removed the foxtail and cleaned his teeth.
My dog was fine for many years, afterwards. When he was very old, he developed breathing problems. The vet examined him, and suggested OTC Benedryl, which worked.
I took four other dogs there after that - to have stitches removed from a new rescue, to have an old dog euthanized, to have another old dogs teeth checked, and to have a dog with chronic ear infections treated.
I have found Dr. Robertson to be practical, down to earth, and quite informative. And no one in the office has ever been rude to me.
