I took my car here back in September 2008 for new tires. They had the best price for tires, so that is why I chose Firestone. When I brought my car in, I asked the man if they would scrape my rims before putting the new tires on, since I have aluminum rims, which tend to build corrosion and cause leaks to occur between the seal of the tire and the rim. He said yes it would be done, don't worry about it. He also told me they were extremely busy and that it may take a while for my car to be done. I said that's fine, you can have it all day, as long as it gets done. A week later, my rear driver side tire was completely flat, so I called them and the guy told me to bring it back in and they will take care of it. I brought it back in, they said they took care of it, and for months I have have a leak so bad that before the week is up I have to put air in it because the tire still leaks that bad. When I brought it back in that time, he had was backed up and had numerous people out that day, and once again told me that it would take a while. I took it to a different place to have the rims scraped; a small business. He told me there was a pretty bad corrosion built up on my tires, and that my right front driver side tire is going the wrong way! I looked at it, and I couldn't believe it, the tread on the tires was going the opposite direction then the rest of my tires. The mechanic at this shop told me to call them to have the tire remounted free of charge. This will be the 3rd time I am taking my car into them after having new tires put on. I am also missing a lug nut on one of my tires which I will also be mentioning to them. My brother checked the rest, and every one of my lug nuts was loose. I am very dissatisified with there service. The mechanic at the small company that scraped my rims told me that a lot of inexperienced kids work for these places because they pay crappy. I don't recommend going there. I know I won't be coming back there.
